It's been reported that the DOJ has deployed Federal Riot Teams to D.C. and Miami. Not sure why Miami got them though since Miami has been relatively tame compared to the rest of the country.
It is one person firing. It's possible the idiot had his finger on the trigger and when kneeling pulled it by accident. He did fire it practically straight up. Need more video on that one.
https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=536758683872117 Dan Bongino, former Secret Service agent who served in the Bush and Obama White House, explains about the bunker thing and how the Secret Service operates in regards to the President. Skip to 2:00 to hear that part.
I can't/won't fault Trump for hiding in a bunker, as the process was (probably) automatically initiated by the Secret Service per protocol. There's enough material to hang on Trump anyway. And, as interesting as it could be for a president to go out because of protests and rioting, in reality, that would be a bad thing, even with Trump.
If I was a cop and didn't want people to think we were bastards I would probably refrain from pointing pepper spray directly at a child.
I don't know. I mean yeah, a little. But now that it is passed and the whole thing didn't burn down.....doesn't really matter what I think.
Well, when you spend your money on guns, bombs, jails and billionaires rather than healthcare, education and a social safety net, I suppose this is what you get. When the US military is oppressing brown people overseas it's all "thank you for your service". When they're doing the same on American streets let's see what the reaction is.
odds are about 99 percent that we won't have active duty military on the streets during this entire ordeal. The ones on the streets now are national guard "citizen soldiers" that have a different role in cases like these. It's just how our military is structured and employed/deployed.
That seems to be a pretty small consolation if true. We've all spent years warning you about Trump and where he was always headed.
And you actually think that if Hillary had been elected (or if Biden is elected in November) our entire military industrial complex will be restructured? You are either on drugs or should be on drugs. Our ship is a little harder to turn around than your ship is.
I said nothing of the sort. What I am saying is that on so many issues Trump has been actively steering you towards the rocks and we have been trying to warn you. Our ship has taken well over a century to turn around and we aren't there yet, we've still got NI, but you need to start listening to the message this isn't about whether a Democrat would be better per se but rather that Trump personally represents many of your problems and he is never going to be about anything more positive than his own ego. He could have easily taken a more constructive tone on so many issues but it's not about being constructive, it isn't about "Making America Great", it's about him, him, him. Now he's literally acting like the third world dictator so many of us saw him as from the start and still you aren't listening. I remember you posting a few weeks back about the elections and having "four more years of awesome". Is this what awesome looks like? Can your country actually survive four more years?
Yes, indeed. In other news, being murdered by uniformed thugs raises death count already skyrocketing due to the virus.
This is the thing, some people seem to imagine everyone on the left actually wants chaos and destruction. Personally I can't stand it, what I wanted was for the warnings to be heeded and this to be avoided.
As for looting, when you exalt vulgar consumerism above all else and then deprive people of the means to engage in it, that is also what you get.
To paraphrase a certain overjoyed poster, that looting is the cops and politicians fault for putting society in this position.
Will our country sail a sea of awesome with Biden at the helm? With sixteen years of a Democratic HMIC at the helm? Give me your prediction if such a situation should occur.
Again, I never made such a claim, in fact I've many times bemoaned that Biden is an idiot. However this situation has, I strongly suspect, been inevitable under Trump. He has sown division so many times in so many ways for no reason other than personal gain. He knows and wants nothing else. As a businessman, as a candidate, as a domestic leader, as a global figure, he has consistently broken down the structures and avenues for discussion which seek to enable peaceful cooperation, be it federal law, the relationship between the WH and the states, the relationship between political groups, the relationship with your neighbours, the relationship between black and white, governor and governed, press and politicians, the UN, the WHO, NATO, the G7, international trade partners, even traditional (ahem) "allies". Trump cannot improve this situation, he doesn't know how to. He knows about the optics of appealing to his supporters and doesn't care who he crushes to reach that end. I don't say this lightly but I honestly believe a second term would literally be an existential threat to the USA as a power, if not as a nation at all.
