I'm not believing the blood pressure unless - as you noted - he's not on medications. I'm not believing the pulse rate either unless his pulse was taken when he was in a deep sleep. At his age having a rate of 64 would indicate a very active, athletic person. Wait - does his cholesterol lowering medications affect his BP and HR? I have no idea but I would like to hear from anyone on these types of medications. Somebody with blood pressure/cholesterol issues weigh in here!

So you are saying commander bone spurs got a doctor the fudge his medical records? Not Donnie Bone Spurrs Trump. Say it aint so. Next thing you will be telling me is the sky is blue and water is wet. I cannot imagine where people come up with these things.

Not trump. He is so honest and open. It is like he is a very stable genius or something. That is what @Marso tells me. It is not like he would lie about things. I am sure his dick is over a foot long. He bowls a perfect game every time he bowls. His golf average is 18. Everything they say must be true because they would never lie.

Cop unions breaking with Biden because he's "soft on law and order".

Translation: he wants some form of oversight over cops therefore he hates cops.

Further translation: You aren't going to stop us killing whoever the fuck we like.

Unlikely. You may see a slight drop in BP as the statin works to reduce cholesterol and give some relief on the pressure in the vessels, but it’s not going to be significant because statins work a lot better at preventing new plaque buildup than dissolving the old.

Can't they just flush the system with some sort of acid that could break all that up? I should tellthe doctors because they probably have not thought of injecting acid into your arteries to un clog them. Just like liquid plumber.

An ammonia/bleach mixture would be most effective. (don't try this at home.)

It is like you are a doctor or something. I am sure if this sort of advice went viral all the doctors would be talking about it.

I totally have a interview to be on faux news later.

Okay, and what does that have to do with "we're still a good years from November"? Back when I lived in the States (almost half a century ago...) that wasn't an expression.

Yeah, I've heard that one. But "a good years from" some particular time is a new one on me.

But then, there have been a lot of new expressions over the years, and I'm usually quite a bit behind the times in learning them, because I don't spend all that much time with Americans. The only "Americans" with whom I have regular contact (other than by electronic means, such as e-mail, telephone or Wordforge) are my kids, who are half German and pretty much French.

It's most well known from the movie "Airplane".

Ted Striker: "Surely you can't be serious?"
Dr. Rumack: "I AM serious, and don't call me Shirley"

I see shootER doesn't believe how out-of-touch you can get when you live out of the country long enough.

I have actually had American tourists tell me I speak English well. Which actually means I don't speak it all that well, because if they just thought I was American they wouldn't say anything.

Once, when I took the train to England, the woman at the British customs saw my American passport but, knowing I had just arrived from France, asked me if I had lived in France a long time. I told her I had been her for over 20 years (this was about 20 years ago) and she just laughed and said, "I can hear it." Even a Brit can detect my French, despite my American accent in English.

    Googles "Airplane".

Ok, I see it's a film from a time when internet didn't yet exist, so I was really out of touch with the States. Not surprising I never heard of it. (But I did hear about the US hockey team at the 1980 Olympics. Even I am not that out of touch.)

How about Michener's Airport that was made into a movie Airport (1970) with Dean Martin, Burt Lancaster, and Jacqueline Bisset? Surely you've seen that?

There were multiple sequels ad-nauseum that culminated with Airport '79 staring the Concorde. Surely you've seen that!!!?

Airplane! was the parody that put a stop to the nonsense.

Just to bring you up to snuff:

And if that wasn't good enough the tkt lobby scene was classic:

    And they landed it:
