I don't agree with how they're treating Liz Cheney, but uh, what about the other "big lie" that got us into the Iraq war?

I will give him credit. At least he addressed the topic at hand briefly before trying to move to the Iraq War.

But he loses that credit for bringing up something that has ZERO to do with the topic at hand.

The Iraq War vote was FOURTEEN YEARS before Liz Cheney was elected to Congress.

This is assuming she would have been elected if her name wasn't cheney. She is in her position because of Darth Cheney. Luke Skywalker would have just been a splat on the death star had his father not been darth vader. Liz would just be another mouthy republican woman if her last name was not cheney. It is not like republicans are fond of electing women who are not ignorant bimbos spouting Qackanon idiocy.

I do not think it is actually Irony or more the expected conclusion of using your last name to get elected to the republican party when you have things like a tiny amount of morals and ethics that clearly is offensive to every one of their slimy base. She would be perfectly fine if she was slurping on trump's cock and posing with a bunch of guns while telling everyone women should not have rights to their own bodies like botard and MTDumbass.

Liz Cheney is one of a handful of national Republican office-holders who does not shy away from saying "Donald Trump lost the 2020 election and it's a straight-up lie to say otherwise. Also, he is responsible for Jan. 6." Many Republican officeholders still play down these facts and change the subject. Others are actively pretending that Trump won the election and that Biden stole it from him. She is basically the third-highest Republican representative.

Cheney's comments include an op-ed for the Post recently, basically saying that the Republican Party needs to accept that Biden won and behave like big boys and girls, support investigations into the Jan. 6 insurrection, and return to supporting conservative principles rather than being a cult of personality around Trump.

In response to Cheney's statements, the Republicans are moving to oust her from her leadership positions among Republican representatives.

    Sins of the father?

Aren't you one of those "No white person alive had nothing to do with slavery" types? Why didn't you hold her feet to the fire when she was elected? :sroll:

I think it's funny that they're calling her a RINO when she's voted for Trump's policies more often than the woman they want to replace her with has.

Funny weird, not funny ha ha.

Political positions don’t matter. Only a willingness to debase yourself for Trump matters.

Stefanik represents a more moderate New York district north of Albany and has a far less conservative voting record than Cheney, who represents deep-red Wyoming. The conservative group Heritage Action gave Cheney a 91% score compared to just 56% for Stefanik during the most recent Congress.

have you considered seeking professional help for your TDS? Trump is like an evil spirit - he feeds off negative energy much like you and others provide in ample supply. Are you keeping him relevant so you can have somebody to blame when Biden screws the pooch? Asking for a friend

So you don't believe that there's anything weird about replacing Cheney with someone who voted more often against Trump than Cheney has? Or do you think the voting records are fake news? :chris:

We're talking about a current news story that is about Republicans trying to oust someone from leadership for not licking Trump's boots. Seems like he's germane to the discussion.

Though I can't blame you for being embarrassed by the mention of his name.

I'm really just sick of hearing about him. At this point Trump is a distraction whether you are on the left or the right.
