Does Russia not have the capability to print a document as a PDF? Did they really print out a document, fold it up a bunch of times, and then scan it?

Or are the fold creases part of their PDF software/culture, much the same way the 2000s BSG colonial culture did away with right angles on the corners of paper?

It would not have to be the workers themselves. There had to be a lowering of security effectiveness at the site due to military action. Some creative idiot could have seen an opportunity to try to spread some radioactive material. I do not know the security on site, or what a person would have to do, but I would think that the war itself made holes in security which would allow a person to get some contaminated materials and pass them to the russian troops.

I do not know how that shit works, but I do know that in some of my scenario games which involved props which were contaminated the yahoos did just that. That was their idea on how to eliminate some people based on their shitty knowledge. I do not know if that would be possible, but if it was I would not put it beyond a local yocal to try.

I have a feeling the name Bucha is going to be long remembered. Maybe even more than Srebrenica.

"Mmmm. No." what? To the idea that Russian soldiers suffering radiation poisoning is Russian propaganda? That if I was a worker at Chernobyl who gave Russian soldiers a lethal exposure of radiation that I wouldn't be a war criminal?

Turns out that Zelenskyy's Servant of the People is available (with subtitles) on YouTube for free!

Couldn't help but notice that one of the shadowy figures in the opening bit looks like Henry Kissenger.

The subtitles get bad after a couple episodes. Netflix has apparently added it though, and there's a torrent floating around that has better ones.

At what point do we have to stop pretending war crimes aren’t happening/weren’t planned?

Short of dragging Putin and his higher-ups out of the Kremlin and to the Hague, there's not much that can be done other than calling them out as war criminals, which most Western leaders have already done.

I'd be interested to know what the position is as to whether Ukraine can (or has) to turn Russian POWs over if they are known to have perpetrated such crimes?

I'd like to think so but there's obviously a risk that Russia would reciprocate with some sort of kangaroo court for people they capture.
