Given who else is on the board, I don’t buy that at all. I think it’s more likely an attempt to extend the reporting period or pump and dump the stock. The market price indicates the smart money believes the latter.

I will say that given Musk has run afoul of the SEC not too long ago, and that one of Biden's appointees to, I think, the SEC, but it might be some other government regulating body has basically given the hairy eyeball to a number of tech companies and their penchant for shady things, I wouldn't rule out the board not wanting Musk on it.

Again, I didn't say that Twitter should ban her. I said that her account should be taken away from her, or that her posts have to be screened by lawyers before she posted if she hoped to keep the series going. Trump literally used the medium to propagate an attack on the verification of the 2020 election in an attempt to overthrow our democracy and install himself in as dictator.

It was done out in the open, and now we have the text messages between the conspirers that show what happened.

So Twitter didn't do the right thing, they did the absolute minimum that could be expected of them. They should have stopped allowing him to use their platform to spread his lies before that point.
