Wentworth Miller would like a word. In one of the Civil War memoirs that I read, the author recounts talking to someone about how he'd dined with the son of a slave-owner in a particular city. The person he told the story to laughed because the son was actually a slave owned by the slave-owner who could "pass" for white.
IF the U.S. Government were to really classify ALL GAY & LGBTQ+ peoples, regardless of what they look like, as NON-WHITE , then GAY & LGBTQ+ peoples would then be eligible for AFFIRMATIVE ACTION & other social services which they DON'T currently receive. I'm a heterosexual male & NOT BLIND to the oppression, persecution , harassment , abuse (BOTH physically & mentally) & WORSE that GAY & LGBTQ+ peoples , regardless of what they look like , have & CONTINUE to receive to this day. PRIDE MONTH
