Watching TNG: "The Host." It's amazing how much retconning of the Trill they did just a year or so later.
Apparently they tried the original Trill makeup on Terry Farrell, but Rick Berman got pissed that they'd hired "a hot babe" and made her look "ugly," at which point he said "fuck it, we'll give her the same makeup we did Famke."
That's it? That's the horrific racist attacks that are traumatizing her, and it took several days after making the claims to actually produce any evidence? Yeah, this broad is no victim. She's just performing for sympathy clout.
that's a sample i found in 3o seconds. gonna guess the media outlets don't want to reprint stuff that'd get flagged on the socials anyway /shrug but yeah, imagine... here you are again telling people what they're allowed to feel and how to feel it, along with the added bonus of a white guy's verdict on what qualifies as racism.
She's shared 'em on Instagram, but you have to join Instagram. Unless all her fans and all the media are in on the conspiracy. But then some "brave" Youtuber would have exposed the conspiracy. Funny that they haven't. It takes some Cirque Du Soleil level contortions to be a right-wing victim blamer.
Well then it wasn't available yet during the 30 seconds I spent browsing articles. Oh, well in that case I guess I should just accept on faith that she's hiding the real examples. You can feel however you want, but nobody is obligated to take you seriously for it.
or, more likely, a combo of ineptitude and laziness Diacanu clarified that they're available before on her instagram also before you posted and were too lazy to read one more post. make your own effort to find the truth out, hmm? :ironymeter: is gonna need recalibrating
Since this is MC I can't say what I want to in response, so all I'll see is jfc please let this be a moment of self reflection that the length of time it takes for a TV ad to buy Kit Kats just might not be enough to make judgment on the validity of things.
Was watching The Changeling last night. At the start of the episode when Nomad attacks the Enterprise, Spock announces that the Enterprise shields absorbed an attack equal to ninety of their photon torpedoes. And that four more attacks would shatter the shields completely Yet a few minutes later, Nomad when the Enterprise fires photon torpedoes on Nomad, Spock announces that Nomad absorbed the attack. Kirk seems surprised, and even says something to the effect that nothing can do that. Continuity wasn't that great on TOS, yet you'd think that continuity would at least last for the same scene.
I'm sure they meant a probe as tiny as Nomad normally can't do that. Maybe the writer needed a coffee boost, and let it slip.
Except the crew didn't know the size of Nomad until after they fired a photon torpedo at it. But like @shootER said, it's best not to think too hard about TOS continuity. Yet, it's the same scene.
One day TOS is going to hold roughly the same position in Star Trek canon as the YouTube shorts that preceded shows like Rick & Morty or Broad City. "Oh, that's what SNW was based on? Wack."
We need a Discovery episode that finds the descendants of the brood as they are out for revenge for being abandoned by Star Fleet.
Birthright, Part I: 1) Crusher is an expert in environmental contaminants, and Picard in civil engineering? 2) Crusher is waxing poetic about the joys of visiting one of Quark's holosuites. Crusher works on a ship with multiple holodecks.
