OK, you clearly haven't even read the story. The scandal did not involve Boris AT ALL in terms of the gay sex. The gay sex was another political figure entirely.

There were no accusations that Boris fucks men, women or kangaroos, nor would most of the British public be surprised if it were all three whilst coked off his face, provided it was with consent. We have tons of openly gay MPs, we're not the US.

A government official (Chris Pincher) was accused of groping two (unconsenting) men whilst drunk. So the issue was not him being gay, but him being a molestor.

It transpired that there had been earlier allegations against Pincher of being a sex pest prior to him getting the job Boris put him into.

Where Boris comes into the story is that he lied about whether he knew of those previous allegations when he hired the guy. He was proven to have lied and kept backtracking.

Having been through Partygate and made to lie to protect Boris over and over, his party had finally had enough of his shit.

Do boarding schools produce and/or serve as weigh-stations for pricks?

Almost all of the candidates have started their campaigning by promising massive and completely irresponsible tax cuts. A lot of that is to do with the electorate that they're appealing to (Tory members and Tory MP's) but it's still shocking.

Rishi Sunak seems to be the only exception. Cunt though he is, kudos for that and probably the best of a bad bunch.

The last Tory I wouldn't have minded as PM was Rory Stewart, but they chased him out into becoming an Independent due to being anti-Brexit.

I really wish we *could* use that word in American parlance, because that's what some people are, regardless of gender

They say that Boris became too woke and too globalist, so his party got rid of him.

Boris has been tough on Russia (one of his few redeeming qualities) and Fox is full of Putin fellators.

The numbers in the contest are being whittled down and there are still a few left but it begins to looks like Sunak v Mordaunt in the final contest, albeit with Truss still a possibility.

Truss is an incompetent mess and being supported by the most odious right-wingers so let's hope she is defeated at least.

Mordaunt is behind Sunak in the Parliamentary party but more popular with the membership - and so is now the strong favourite with the bookies. Looks to me like she represents more of a clean break with the Johnson era. She hasn't much history in cabinet at all so is a bit of an unknown quantity. Still a fucking Tory and a Brexiteer of course.

Oh yes, there's a reason the vote is limited to the Tory membership and not actual human beings.

It'd be like asking us to choose whether we like the grey/black or white/gold Daleks in classic Dr Who best as our overlords.

They cancelled the final debate after coming across like squabbling children, rather than people who had been subject to collective cabinet responsibility for several years.

To be fair, that's what political debate has devolved to these days. Especially PMQs.

The leadership debate had to be taken off the air as the presenter fainted.

Well that or being exposed to that much Tory bullshit knocks people unconscious as a survival mechanism.

    It'd explain their voters.
