I’ve never understood and have gotten very angry when I miss a question and not only does the teacher not tell me the question I answered incorrectly, they don’t tell me the correct response. how am I supposed to learn if I don’t know what’s wrong?

There's a lot more wrong with education than that.

Public schools, at least the public schools I went to, are "educational institutions" in the same way that prisons are "rehabilitation institutions."

It sounds a lot to me that schools end up being daycare with some educational value that the kids might do. The most important part seems to be the parents can work their slave jobs while their kids are taught how to obey properly, and the ones who cannot conform to the rules are tracked to prison by being labelled disruptive.
