LOL nope. Most science funding is on the order of half a mill a project. Sounds a lot but most of that is overheads - scientists don't see much of it. Y'know who DOES have money? The fossil fuel industry. They just figured it's better to give it to Manchin and his ilk rather than scientists - but don't imagine for a moment there aren't plenty who'd fabricate evidence for cash. If you have a scientist on a government budget, they're not in it for the bucks. Your chap above isn't saying human-driven climate change doesn't exist, just arguing how it happens. So not quite the point you intended to make, and in no way countering the statement that you're full of gas.
Take some of the aluminium foil the Brits are using to plaster their windows (to keep the heat out) and make yourself a tinfoil hat.
The fact is that most scientists who study climate change would love if they could be the one to discover things are fine and we can keep doing whatever we want to the atmosphere. There would be lots of embarrassed people, but that would be the best possible discovery.
Geophysical Review would publish it in a heartbeat. Why? Because that's the Geologist's primary science piece, and they get almost all of their funding from oil companies.

Third set of human remains found at Lake Mead amid drought Wonder how many more Vegas mob hits will be found now that the lake is drying up.
I read that as AC/DC and thought that can’t be right and then it said commonwealth of Australia so I read it again to make it didn’t say AC/DC.
McKinney Fire Is Now California's Largest Wildfire in 2022 It took less than a week for it to burn 52K acres.
Even more human remains discovered in Lake Mead's receding waters This just gets better and better. I mean, not good for the planet. But pretty good for law enforcement solving cold case murders.
Seems strange for me to have to remind a Canuck that the US isn’t the center of the universe and that far more “interesting” things are being discovered in dried up riverbed’s elsewhere.
Adding here my post from the other thread - the climate provisions of the IRA are, in fact, a BFD Volts podcast: what to make of the Democrats' last-minute climate bill - Volts | Podcast on Spotify
Saw that, too. Nice of a Yankee to acknowledge that the United States isn't the centre of the universe. However, the southwestern United States are going to provide years of entertainment for everyone once the drought gets so bad that several states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming) plus Mexico start fighting -- and I mean really fighting -- over the Colorado River. They should put that shit on pay-per-view once it hits the fan!
One bit of good news. SCOTUS struck down EPA's ability to regulate carbon dioxide as the Clean Air Act did not include it in its list of pollutants. The Inflation Reduction Act just changed that, amending the Clean Air Act to include CO2. Conservatives are literally losing their shit, because this means fossil fuel extraction might have to pay its true environmental cost. They never thought that the Dems would be able to get this through with only 50 votes in the Senate, but they did. It also is believed to give the power to continue to support renewable energy development - you know, like every sane country in the world is doing right now. Biden, Pelosi and Schumer are showing what experience in government can do.
