You think it's ridiculous that the DOJ is investigating Trump for stealing secret documents that might pertain to nuclear secrets? I didn't take you for a Qanon type. Interesting.

Oh I read it. You do realize it's possible to criticize the FBI and alphabet agencies as a whole as well as the espionage act and Congress, yet still think what Trump did was morally wrong, illegal and incredibly stupid, right? People are capable of having both thoughts.

It proves he sought her advice on things. That they werent enemies but rather close. Whoever informed them of the documents would have done so a few months back, Trump would have known this search warrant was coming from his lawyers atleast a month back, Ivana fell down the stairs a month ago. So its plausable.

It's plausable, but I'm guessing the informant is still alive which is why Trump wants to know what's in the affidavit. He probably doesn't know who it is. I'm guessing it's one of his lawyers or immediate family members.

That opinion piece seems to be arguing that what Trump did wasn't a threat in any way, that doesn't seem morally wrong.

I'm genuinely confused because you seem to be arguing that what he's done is "morally wrong, illegal and incredibly stupid", while also endorsing the view that the legal pursuit of him is over the top and that the agencies able to act about it shouldn't have that power.

I don't think that's what the piece is saying at all. I think what he's saying is that while he doesn't agree with the existence of the FBI, what Trump did was still against the law. There's no question that the FBI has engaged in questionable practices over the years and those are valid criticisms. We don't know what the FBI knows so I can't say what they did is over the top or not. It doesn't seem that way, but we don't know. All we know is that he was in possession of document he's not supposed to have. It's entirely possible that his lawyer misinformed him and in fact his lawyer is to blame, which is is exactly what's was said in this piece. It's also possible that Trump is the one who misled his lawyer and the FBI. We simply don't know.

Hey clown, I have been posting videos of Andrew Napolitano saying that what Trump did was illegal. He's been giving the most factual account of what's been going on that I can find. He has not been defending Trump at all in this matter and neither have I. You would know that had you had been paying attention.
