Anyone still believe this about the sanctity of life?

I mean, if it was (I didn't read the article, just the headline), they would be treating the women for addiction, not jailing her until she gives birth.

But, typical southern US shitcannery. So, fuck you if you are insulted when I insult the south every chance I get.

It stands no chance - likely to draw attention away from Trump meeting with him and the subpeona set.

At this point, any further national attempt to limit abortion is going to damage the GOP in the midterms.

Mind you, Lindsey Graham EXISTING should hurt the GOP but somehow hasn't yet.

It seems to have succeeded somewhat (very little on the Trump meetup except Lindell whining about his phone being seized) but also misfired - the Senate GOP really don't think it's good to be saying the quiet part out loud right now (instead still pushing the "it's up to the states" line whilst fully intending to do this if they retake the Senate). AND it gave Biden some cover on a day where he's touting his economic policies but the Dow took a dive.

I'm not going to defend it. It's wholly wrong from a Constitutional standpoint. It's a States issue. See? #consistency

    it's not a states rights issue. It's a woman's right issue.

That you don't know that, is more telling about who you are, as a person, than any woman for whatever reason chooses that option.

All political polling shows that this is a huge hit to the GOP at midterms.

Graham is not to be trusted, but he isn't an idiot.

So one of two things. He thinks it will help him get re-elected and screw the rest of them. Which is probably the most likely option. He appears loyal to the base and doesn't care if any actual legislation comes from the GOP - they don't do anything anyway.

Or on a more conspiratorial note it is true he's being blackmailed due to his sexuality, and this way he can fuck the GOP while remaining apparently loyal. Much less likely, but this Lindsey Graham is not at all the same person that was an ally to John McCain a decade ago.

Anyway, it fucks the GOP, and that's what's important. :D

Oh I think he might be an idiot. He might have been counting on the media to provide a view that a 15-week ban is more liberal than exists in a lot of red states, blunting a blue wave there. *Seems* to have failed, but let’s not count chickens before the midterms actually happen.

So you either don't actually believe it's murder, or think that states should be able to legalise murder?

I would say the main reason they deny it is because overall the pedophile community is very religious right. It is good to point to others as a distraction while you are the pedos. Everyone look at the trans person while I grab this child's crotch and move on them like a bitch. Drag queen Bingo would actually be the safest time for children if a christian church hosted it.
