Her complete designation is Seven Of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct To Unimatrix Zero One.
So, her actual last name is One.

Titan looks like the saucer from the late 23rd century mounted on top of a hand phaser from TNG.

It also looks different than the Titan that was portrayed in Lower Decks.

Yes, but Lower Decks is a couple of decades before PIC. The showrunners have referred to this one as the Titan-A in tweets.

I saw that and all I felt was boredom. I don't even care what the TNG crew does with one another because it's one more "Save the Universe" story and I'm over it.

However it turns out, at least it will be the end of this abomination.

    Couldn't agree more.

"All Good Things..." was a great way to end the series.

Heck, I can even live with Generations (except for Kirk's stupid death) and First Contact being the epilogue to the series.

But pretty much everything they've done after First Contact has been ass. There have been the odd glimpses of brilliance, such as the season two premiere episode of Picard, but it's been downhill since "All Good Things..."

    :sigh:

I will say the one saving grace of Picard season 1 was Data got a re-do of his horrendous send off I Nemesis. But even with that and their aggressive ignoring of C/7, season two was truly the most disappointing thing since Harry Plinkett's son. Think I'm just gonna wait to see what the consensus is before wasting time on that and save myself the headache.

Truly, the biggest flaw in modern Trek is sticking way too close to established canon and it's no surprise to me that Lower Decks was the fan favorite before SNW became the new shiny toy. Yes, it relies on fandom nerd humor but at least it's opening up the actual universe and giving us some new perspectives instead of the same old warmed up rehash.

I won't say Kurtzman and Company are anywhere near the level of incompetent and out of touch with fans as Rick Berman was--SNW's very existance is proof of that--but we're past the "let's earn the fandom's trust back" phase. Time for the "Let's keep them wanting more" era.

Hard disagree, Data asking Picard to euthanize him "because dying is human" at the exact same time Picard gets resurrected in a new android body was dumb as hell and ultimately depressing in a bad way. Like Data never got over his human LARPing attempts and realized he was part of an entirely new species with limitless potential? He never considered that after he was brought back, he could bring back Lal next? Or even try to rehabilitate Lore?

Such a waste. Just recast Data if Spiner isn't onboard. Everyone was fine with the new Guinan and new Borg Queen.

Now, see, I would have quoted the geek details of the Titan-A is a Constitution III*, and they're going to have a model of the LD version of Titan to tie that in.

*I being original, II being movie refit.

He went on RMB’s channel recently and explained that the way he saw it, there was a Titan during the time of TOS that got a refit during the movie era and this version is a new version of the same class of ship which apparently has little to no connection to Riker’s Titan.

so one of the click-bait sites that Google keeps showing me on my phone says that there's a series in development built around Seven?

I'm skeptical because I'm not seeing anything about it elswhere

Middle aged gay woman lead action sci fi? yeah, I want this just for the 'splodey heads.

Tales of the Fenris Rangers has some potential and could do bottle shows pretty easily

Im here for it bc Star Trek desperately needs to stop draining the nostalga well and get to expanding the universe beyond TOS and TNG. Picard has proven that well to be well and fully tapped.

I'll never agree with the "well is tapped" argument.
Maybe these writers are drained, but then just get fresh people.

I can think of all kinds of things I'd do to play in the TNG universe and be fresh.
A TNG-SNW with recasted young Picard on the original Stargazer for one.
    Fill in those lost years.

A "lives of Dax" miniseries, then make a whole show out of the fan favorite.

Do "Assignment: Earth" but with young Guinan instead of Gary Seven.

See? Just created three TNG-adjacent shows out of thin air that would be awesome.

Star Trek is getting caught up in the same mistake that I feel Star Wars has been caught in for the last 20 years. They failed to expand the universe and tell compelling stories. Everything is adjacent to TOS and TNG just as all Star Wars is adjacent to the OT and PT. Maybe Sir Patrick Stewart was right? For what it's worth, I do like SNW.

I'm onboard for S3 of Picard, but after that, Trek a rest.

    Alphaman beat me to it.

Do you want what Star Wars has been for the last 20 years? Because this is how you get what Star Wars has been for the last 20 years.

I don't want more Picard, Guinan or Dax. I want to follow new crew in new settings. Lower Decks improved immensely the minute they stopped leaning on TNG references to carry their stories and let us enjoy the expanded world. I mean, between it's actual finale, Nemesis, that cringe ass ENT finale and S3 of Picard, how many swan songs does one show need?

I think I mentioned in another Trek thread that most of us have moved past our Berman era PTSD and I will grant Kurtzman is leagues ahead of him on his first day. I wouldn't want his legacy to be tarnished for a failure to innovate.

Lives of Dax needs to be animated, but yeah.. it'd be timely to feature a non binary lead.

Assignment Earth, sure. But work in Wesley and Soji/Daj and there's a big 3 that'll make everyone's heads explode. Set it present day and we can get Rios and Theresa back.

Not sure I'd care about Picard: the early years, although the era following ST6 has potential. Klingon glasnost and the rise of the Romulans for galactic influence.

yup... sort of like Andor, we need stories in the universe that don't rely on the heroic epic so much as have it in the background.
