The problem for the Tightie Righties is that most of the things that come out about Hunter Biden actually end up making Joe look better by the time you dig to the end of it.

There's a good chance Hunter cheated on his taxes and will be indicted for it. At which point Joe will probably say something along the lines of "as a dad I love my son no matter what, but as president I have a duty to let the professionals do their jobs and I wouldn't interfere even if I could." And it will be impossible for voters to not notice the contrast with Trump's hysterical shrieking and whining.

It's common sense that Hunter Biden got at least some of his gigs because somebody thought there would be a business advantage in employing the son of a vice president or a senior senator. His resume is OK, but it's not stellar. But there is precisely zero evidence that Joe ever used his power to benefit one of Hunter's employers. How do we know this? Because most of it happened during the Obama administration with Republicans controlling both the House and Senate oversight committees. These are the people who held about 5,000 hearings on Benghazi, and as soon as one came up dry, they'd just launch another one. You're telling me they wouldn't have launched major investigations into Gazprom if there had been even the faintest hint of Biden abusing his power?

Finally, Hunter is a drug addict and an all-around fuckup, and his dad stood by him the entire time. Whereas Trump is the kind of guy who will turn on Tiffany if he thinks she's getting too fat. Witnessing Joe Biden's unwavering, unconditional love for his son may trigger the Trumpers who think compassion is a sign of weakness, but to normal, well-adjusted human beings it's just what dads are supposed to do.
