1. Sean Connery 2. George Lazenby 3. Roger Moore 4. Timothy Dalton 5. Pierce Brosnan 6. Daniel Craig And....Kick-Ass? Aaron Taylor-Johnson had a secret audition, and he's supposedly the frontrunner. https://www.darkhorizons.com/taylor-johnson-a-new-bond-frontrunner/
I want John Oliver as James Bond. That is the bond I would pay to see. Otherwise I am done after Daniel Craig. Well, maybe if they go with peppa pig I would take a look.
He seems a bit too pretty and young to be in the role...? Are they trying to get a younger audience w this casting choice?
I looked it up, he's 32. Same age as Sean Connery when he started. I also looked up how old Bond is supposed to be, mid-late 30s seems to be the consensus. In Moonraker he says he's eight years away from a retirement, which is supposed to be at 45.
It was the era of the prime alpha man - leather skinned, red meat chompin', booze swilling, cigarette hoovering MAN. And a woman knew how to take a good slap before a snog.
Craig was 37 when filming Casino Royale. All the people complaining about mid 30s being too young are just getting old.
ATJ isn't a terrible fit, but he doesn't seem dark enough. I heard Tom Holland's name being batted around and that I absolutely can't see. Of course, I've no idea how the writers will make Bond in this iteration. But hopefully they'll revert to something closer to the Connery/Dalton/early Craig pattern, a harder, darker Bond.
Jodie Comer in the running to play James Bond after Tony award win - bookies odds on who will play 007
You want to know how you can prove the Oscars are bullshit? Hugh Jackman didn't get the award for his performance in that film. Seriously outstanding work on his part.
If Nolan thinks he can do something cool with making them as period pieces then it makes me interested in seeing the next Bond film.
