The scenario in this case is equivalent to them hiring somebody to make a website saying "hey, Brittanie and Allison are getting married."

The scenario Amy Coney Barrett proposed is equivalent to them hiring somebody to make a website saying "Christianity is evil and should be outlawed."

(Which is something they would be very unlikely to do, insofar as they are both practicing Catholics. Just thought I'd throw that out there in light of Barrett trying her best to pretend that being Christian requires being an anti-gay bigot.)

The web designer tells you to pound sand because it’s against their religious beliefs. Do you (a) make a big stink about it and try to force them to do your announcement or (b) tell them to kiss your ass and take your business elsewhere?
