Hopefully this link works. It's to a video promo for a documentary on Buckminster Fuller featuring members of the TNG cast. Denise Crosby has not aged well at all.
Yeah, they updated Sela's model in Star Trek Online to match her current look for a while, which didn't make sense (as a half-Romulan, she should age slower) and looked awful. Especially when they kept Kira's look pretty consistent with her DS9 appearances despite a 30-year time gap. Bashir and Tom Paris get aged up to match the actors, as does Janeway now they finally got Mulgrew. Seems to depend on whether they still look good or not. Seven used her classic appearance for several missions until Ryan appeared in PIC, showed she was still fucking gorgeous and they shifted her model in later missions to match.
And that version had lived on a Tal Shiar prison colony for decades, where there were temporal anomalies that could age you in an instant.

I still think the lampshade Enterprise should have shown up on ENT. I would have had that it was pre-warp, had hyper-impulse that pushed up to time-dilation speed, and NX-01 caught up to it to tow it home for warp refit. But Klingons interfere.
I like it. But I still think Enterprise brought in Klingons way too soon in the timeline to make it plausible that Earth wasn't immediately conquered.
It should have been the Enterprise on the show. I don’t mind the NX-01, but if you’re going to follow continuity established in TMP, this was the Enterprise.
I'd disagree about visual continuity. doesn't fit into the SF design lineage visually or implied functionality-although single and triple nacelles also bend the idea. Like, I'm pretty sure ring ships are supposed to suggest a singularity drive vs m/am. They're also kind of signature to Romulans and Vulcans in that regard. Otherwise, the nacelles are (visually) essential to warp capable ships.
