The one where @Lanzman is overjoyed because he can buy a working substitute for his flaccid groin protuberance.

Mental health, negligent parenting, lax discipline in schools, and a general lack of accountability for violent predatory shitbags.

Yeah but it's amazing how much harder it is for crazy people to kill dozens without guns.

And if you're concerned about that, tell the NRA to fuck off when they oppose red flag laws.

FF and UA are just giving variations on the constant refrain from the cheap seats. "Guns don't kill people; people kill people!"

It's an idiotic argument. Of course people kill people. But guns make it sooooo much easier to kill a lot of people at one time.

I got sent to a "school" that was like Weston Hills in Freddy 3.
They had "restraining" which was basically wrestling holding, and a time out room.
I never got restrained or time outed, because I was there for drawing naughty cartoons .
Anyway, half those kids committed crimes when they got out anyway.

So, um, TLDR version, fuck you, UA.
    Fuck. You.

Fuck those kids, @Lanzman needs his toy to be unregulated and easily acquired so he can pretend to be a real man. o you want him to go without just so that you might be safe from a crazy with a gun? Be realistic, you let small dicks vote, and they do in large numbers. Their fears mean more in a democracy than your safety.

It’s cheaper and easier to get a gun than mental healthcare. Why do you suppose that is?

Can you provide your source for what prior acts had been committed by the 84 and 65 year old perpetrators of the acts that prompted today's discussion to suggest they had displayed violent predatory behaviour and not been held accountable for it? None of the articles I'm looking at include that context but I'm sure you aren't just making shit up.

This. Mental health is definitely a key component to the problem, along with all of the other complications of society. It's not the gun's fault that someone is mentally ill, but the gun has to be taken into account when it is picked up and used to murder people.

People who try to push the focus solely onto the issue of mental health are often the same people who refuse to pour money into social programs that would help fix the problem with mental health.

Look at the way UA talks about mental health.
He clearly sees mental illness as a moral failing.
That if the people were just "better" somehow, their brains wouldn't have broken on them.
Hey, Stoicism and/or Randism would have fixed them! :hurr:

Especially when in these cases the mental health seemed to be (at least based on initial reports that may be incorrect) a symptom of being an older man obsessed with guns and paranoid about crime rates.
