I'm hearing comparisons to Empire Strikes Back and even Godfather 2.

I just rewatched Dune part 1 and a lot of things make more sense and are a lot more clear the second time around. One thing I forgot about was Paul’s ability to do “mind tricks” , for lack of better term. This movie is very much a show not tell type of movie. There are few scenes where Paul interacts with the spice that I didn’t pick up on the first time I watched it.
