If you're caught DUI in the US, can you have your licence revoked?

If you're caught being irresponsible with a gun, can you have your ability to own one revoked?

No, you avoided justice thanks to your family connections. You've been quite clear about that. :async:

Yes I avoided justice by losing my license for a year, took intensive drug rehabilitation classes had to attend AA meetings, was randomly drug tested and placed on probation for a year. That’s how I avoided justice. Where you got this notion that I used my family connections, family that lives 500 miles away, I have no clue.
If you’re referring to the story I told about a misdemeanor pot charge, that was thirty fucking years ago inn my home state it was my first offense and I was 14 or 15.
ETA: Forgot to mention the high deductible insurance, blow and go for a year, court fines and fees and five days in the slammer.

He sat in a crowded room without a mask based on Trump's bullshit.
And no one else on Team Elephant stepped up, and said "hey man, don't listen to Trump, mask up".
Far as I'm concerned, he was a pawn sacrifice.

Masks are not that effective. He should of been vaccinated because while the vaccine doesn’t prevent transmission like we were told, it does reduce your chances for infection.

And your evidence that they don't face any danger in their home countries is ... what, exactly?

Perhaps there are people who manage to buy Social Security numbers, but (a) the only way you can state this with confidence is if people are getting caught, which means those people are no longer able to access the benefits of citizenship, and (b) if you were trying to get citizenship this way, turning yourself in to Border Patrol and registering as an asylum seeker would be a pretty counterproductive way to do it.

Many people in our country say the same thing, and use it to justify some of the truly inhumane things we have done to everyone who arrived at Australian borders and claimed asylum.

A brother in law of mine was one such person, and while the story of his life isn't mine to share here, I would question how many asylum seekers you have actually met to form this view.

You know this despite seemingly not understanding that US citizenship is not at all a requirement for having a Social Security number?

Be specific. Show your work. What is the basis for this comparison, and why is it negative?

As far as I know, oldfella was a working, self-sufficient, functioning adult, which places him several rungs above YOUR tired ass.

Fun fact: Guess who U.S. law requires to register for Selective Service?

    Asylum seekers.

That's right, they have to sign themselves up for a hypothetical draft so that, if the shit really hits the fan, they can go fight on @Bill Carson's behalf while he's calling them liars and leeches.

It’s the price of admission. They should have to actually do four years of civil service.
