I don't even know what to say and I was there... The offense didn't show up for the game. Last week it was the D that didn't show, this week they did great... too bad the O didn't do the same. We'll never win any real games only playing 1 side of the football.

I'm worried about every game for the rest of this season.

So... A&M is struggling with Army. Notre Dame and OU have lost. FSU is struggling... it's an odd week to say the least.

Not that I'm one to make excuses, but Oklahoma really did get screwed with that onside kick call. The Oregon player touched it first. No doubt about it. Cripes, I can't believe the kick got blocked.

I don't absolve OU of responsibility. Up 33-20, the Sooners relaxed and lost focus, they should have never allowed Oregon to waltz down the field and score to make it 33-27. And they allowed the field goal to be blocked - inexcusable. That's why you don't go on the road to play these programs that have never had a track record of success, and want to use you as a stepping stone to respectability. For them, it's the game of the millenium.

Ah well, a lot of big names lost today, not just OU.

I'll take your word on that. I was at work all day. I didn't get to see a dman thing except the last few minutes of the Sooners because a guest had it on in the lobby.

Miami and FSU and Notre Dame all go down this week. Navy puts the whoopin' on Stanford

I am most pleased. :) Except for the pathetic showings by both Delaware and Maryland.!

Yet even after being screwed, if OU could kick a field goal, they'd of won the game.

Let's hear it for scheduling, the Cowboys are 3-0 after beating mighty Florida Atlantic 48-8. Our first real game is next week at Houston.

GOD DAMN THAT WAS A FOOTBALL GAME! I still can barely talk after that. (It ended up being a kinda defensive game so some yelling was required).

I don't care what people are saying about our Offense, LSU was one of the top teams in the nation (5 or 6) and we won They had a hell of defense as well as matching us 2 to 1 in yarding and we won. I don't know what else you can really expect a team to do.

The march to Glendale has begun! :tasvir:

(and I'll be in boot camp for the whole thing. :weep: )

P.S. How 'bout dem Sooners? :diacanu: :finger:

I was really looking forward to coming on here and making fun of Tech and OU. I had even prepared some lovely pictures to post in honor of my rival's suckitude. And then came Army. What should have been a great football weekend has once again been ruined by Dennis Fagatrannie. The only reason A&M won that game is because Bobby Ross was given the last chance to fuck up. And so he did.

Army should have tried one more pass before they tried to punch it in on a run... incomplete quick pass stops the clock and leaves time for one last ditch run effort.

The Big XII is sad right now, the North has sucked for years. OSU or Tech could've split the North crown over the last few years. :jayzus:

I hate to say it.. but Michigan usually finds a way to disappoint their fans. :(

I'll still revel in that Notre Dame pasting though! Hate those jerks.

    Two weeks ago

I'll also take OU's national titles in 1985 and 2000 (the 2000 title being unanimous, not one of those gay "AP says one thing, coach's poll says another" split titles.

Oh yeah, that's right, you managed to scrape a win out of the Regional Powerhouse of UAB.

Not everyone can live in the present. If you need to retreat into nostalgic memory to find a way to support your team, I won't get in your way.
