I have officially registered for this year's National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. This year's effort will be a science fiction piece titled Outbound. My plan is for a first-person perspective narrrative as one of the richest men in the world realizes his goal of building a ship that can take him out of the solar system, where finally he can find the peace and solitude he has craved his entire life.

Kicked off NaNoWriMo tonite after dinner and taking down my Halloween decorations. Just shy of 2000 words. Not as good as last year, but then last year I wasn't so tired from a very busy October. Here's to the effort.

I did fourteen of the Inktober prompts this year. They're up in my DeviantArt gallery if you wanna go look. They're not very good because I drew directly with ink, which is not how I generally do my artwork. But oh well.
