Not really. The guy chased the victim down then started another confrontation and then shot him. I think a death could have been avoided here.

Yeah, pursuit's going to be a problem. The shooter may be able to claim he was attempting to detain the deceased person and, if the man resisted, that he was forced to defend himself. It's all in the details.

I don't see any identification of the races of the persons involved.

Some where around here their is a link to an Irish version of the Onion where they had an American police officer telling people that all of these videos of them shooting black people makes them look bad so wouldn't members of the public stop filming them? The article says "All three men were black." Since there were two aggressors and one man who was accosted, that means it was a black man who shot a black youth.

14th's spin is not only a blatant distortion of the facts, but an attempt to cherry-pick a couple of details (like the fact that the article says they were "apparently unarmed") to make it into something it isn't.

This is one of the worst cases of presenting a story in a way that is intended to fit a political agenda that I have seen in quite a while, worthy of Tererun or gturner.

Not really. Once the kids started trying to get away it's mission accomplished. That did did just what it should do in this particular situation, which is a deterrent. That said I agree once they punched the old man they should expect
whatever they get in return. But political times have changed. As a white you are expected to play the role of punching bag because it is obviously your fault the system is fucked up and biased.
Regardless the "takeaway" here is don't fuck with old people. They have lived too long to put up with your shit
and have no reservations about defending themselves.

Even looking at the video, it's obvious the guy who got shot is white.

So the confrontation started on the train and it looks like the guy walked some ways to start another confrontation before shooting. What a hero.

And last I checked, the "victim"was white and the shooter was black. Another article I found made direct mention of their races, but the one in the OP didn't.

I wanted to see who'd comment without actually looking Into the story, and if anyone would change their tune once the actual races came out.
