Are there more Samurai Sword incidents in WA State than any other State?

It sure seems like it.

A samurai sword really classes up an edged weapon attack. A machete can be purchased at Walmart.

I am going to research the # of incidents in the state of WA. It is unreal. I looked it up once, just the other day a woman killed her boyfriend with a sword, he was cheating on her.
Periodically there is an incident where "A man with a sword has shut down traffic"
I need to research samuri sword incidents nation wide.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Tyler Texas will be mentioned at some point. Any weird criminal shit that can be conceived of will occur in Tyler Texas for some mysterious reason.

hmmm.....I'm intrigued! Like my longbow, this is a weapon I can practice with without upsetting my neighbors. Then again my wife thinks I'm "accident prone" so I don't know.

There was a machete incident today in Portland.

"Samurai Sword" is kind of equivalent to "Assault Rifle". I used to have a replica that looked kinda like the real thing (cost maybe $30..it was a while ago), but the only that was sharp was the point. It was definitely not a Samurai Sword, so I would be skeptical of media and police reports. As an aside, I got a nasty surprise a few years ago when an article showed up in Florida (where else?) that said a former classmate at my dojo had been arrested for assaulting his girlfriend with a "Samurai Sword". The guy was not real smart and made himself unwelcome for being a git, as the Brits would say, but it was still a shock. So it's not just Washington.

Side note about "samurai sword" that might seem nit-picky but indulge me: in the Doobie Brothers song "China Grove" there's a line that goes "Sheriff and his buddy with a samurai sword"

oh I get that! But the very concept of "thunderstruck" which spins off into these other words should have been dismissed once mankind discerned the effects of thunder versus the effects of lightning.

Concussion grenade? Those are pretty awesome! I never got to handle those when I was in, only frag grenades. My son got a bloody nose one time at the grenade range (long story) when he was in basic training around 2012 or so. Kids grow up so fast!

Side note you want to experience some scary shit? Go to grenade training with a bunch of KATUSA (Korean augmentees) who can barely speak English and can't throw for shit....that will put hair on your chest & build character as they say!
