But they're totally okay with a young girl falling in love with an animal. Theater cancels Beauty and the Beast due to gay character
That is it, the gay is over thanks to Alabama. Who is would have thought all you needed to do was stop a screening of beauty and the beast by Disney and they gay would go away.
Disney wants to use allegedly family-friendly kids movies to push the gay agenda and normalize the deviant sexual behavior of 2% of the population. It would be nice if every theater in America boycotted this crap. When the profit margin disappears, Disney and others will abandon their attempts at social engineering.
Le Fou has a whole fucking song about Gaston's being the pinnacle of manliness in the original film. If that ain't ghey, I dunno what is.
Which is honestly why I really wished they hadn't said anything about it. But the problem is, much like with that cartoon recently where very few people wouldn't have even noticed a gay couple and a lesbian couple kissing, some people just feel the need to make as much noise about it as possible.
Any chance to send a message gay people suck will be taken by the haters because they want to harm people not let things pass by unnoticed. The do not want gay people out of view. They want them in the open where they can ridicule them.
Not gonna happen. People like you (assuming your current persona is genuine) are dying out ... fortunately.
They were talking about this on the CBS news this morning. What I'm wondering is why is this national news? It's a single drive-in theater in a tiny town that nobody has ever heard of.
This is a tipping point for Disney. Disney fears the right wing religious loonies enough to tip toe around them and avoid saying a character is gay. Disney has been realising they cannot pull together a boycott and damage the Disney name like that y used to. Still, the religious right has media influence so they have to be loud and pretend they are going to damage Disney if they do not surrender. It is a losing battle for the religious as the gay dollar is seen to be much more important today, and picking on gays tends to get your name dirty. Here will be a few of these types of incidents as the Christian Taliban tries to control disney, but things are changing, and the religious are losing unless Donald can turn it around for them.
I would be pretty happy if everyone's sexuality was "out of view". Why people want to have private behavior define what they are to the public makes no sense whatsoever.
Yeah, no straight couple would hug and kiss in public. None of them wear wedding rings which only have the meaning of we are fucking. They don't have their family stickers on the back Windows of their cars saying look how many times we have fucked. You just dropped not want evident once of gay people because you do no t get away from your straight friends who advertise their sexuality all the time. Not to mention beauty and the beast is a fucking love story you asshole. Taking the bestiality out of it you see a romance when you oh to that movie. If you really did not like sexuality shoved in your face you would never see a Disney princess movie. Just who the fuck do you think you fool with your lies about disliking all sexuality? How much pornography have you watched? How many romcoms have you sat through. Even blatant action movies often have sex scenes, and many for no reason. I am sure you go see them. Look at star trek and how many green britches like fucked before Kirk? You just want to fuck with gay people because you do not have any problem with straight sexuality
I simply don't find it believable that there would be an openly gay character in 18th c. France. Flamboyant or worst kept secret, sure, but not openly gay
I don't believe that a witch would turn someone into a beast for not letting her in from a storm, or that a woman as strong as Belle supposedly is would fall for a man that held her father hostage. And yet...
Well, kind of like the supposed sexist backlash from the last Mad Max movie was just one reviewer on one blog, and the manufactured Ghostbusters backlash, I imagine this is all about trying to sell the movie on moral outrage or something like that.
I'm starting to think outrage is our chief manufacturing export. There is nothing wrong with getting angry, or outraged, but we have a news media that will doggedly dig until they find every last scrap of fuel to power that outrage, because it sells. You know why transgender folks can't just go take a piss in the bathroom? Because some asshole got outraged at something that didn't negatively affect him, and the news decided that would be one hell of a great way to get viewers/clicks/baby souls. LeFou being gay? Could totally happen. In the cartoon, it was clear that LeFou was enamored with Gaston, whether due to hero worship, love adoration, or both. In the film, they seem to have clarified just what kind of admiration it is. Some people in a shitty Alabama theater get outraged because they think there's some kind of gay agenda by Disney to force kids to become gay. Why give those people credence? Why give them a lending ear to spout their idiocy? Because the news media knows there will be a response. I'm honestly surprised that we don't see headlines like "Killing Jews: The Right Solution?" followed by an interview with some asshole in Georgia holding a confederate flag and wearing a white sheet. This is unhealthy. It needs to stop, because life does imitate art, and we're just creating one big vicious cycle where we become outraged at outrage over an outrage we became outraged about because of its outrage.
It's so sad to see a once mediocre troll descend to the point of being a faded carbon copy of Ron Paul/TLS You'd like to believe their was enough creativity there to come up with a more original shtick but it's just not there. Sad!
The libtard's favorite fantasy - conservatism is dying out. Sorry snowflake, we're not going anywhere. I assume you're seen the polls showing conservatism is very popular among the young? Of course, they're not the ones screaming and rioting on college campuses, so they don't get the press the spastic snowflakes get. We're the silent majority.
Eh, you'd be surprised. Not saying it was common or anything, but much of the weird repressive nature about sex most Americans think about didn't necessarily exist anywhere but here, and only among certain classes of people in very narrow windows of time. There might very well have been openly gay people in 18th c. France.
It's not believable. It's 21st century PC identity politics superimposed on a story that has nothing to do with the gay agenda. The animated original is the only cartoon movie ever nominated for Best Picture, and that was accomplished without making LaFou a cocksucker.
Outrage at inclusion of gay character in film about woman-buffalo romance The Disney film studio is in damage control this week, as news spreads that its live action remake of Beauty and the Beast may contain a gay subplot, in what is being described as a first and now a last for any high budget children’s film. Conservative pundits and cinemas alike are protesting the “unnatural” inclusion, with concerned parents asking how they are supposed to explain to their children that a film featuring a talking candle has a character who falls in love with another man. http://www.chaser.com.au/world/outr...ut-woman-buffalo-romance/#EP6W6FpQulfQ4sbH.99
Wow, who knew the cucks would need a trigger warning and safe spaces for their sensitive special snowflake sensitivities from a background character in a Disney movie. Well, maybe everyone knew the professional victim whiners of the alt right would cry because they saw an Animated gay person. Let us hope they never see anime's wandering son. So Russia is getting into the action now, and I am positive Disney is loving this, if they did not directly cause it. That is what is pissing me off. There is a huge backlash starting and they are spouting the evil gay rhetoric like the evil right wing assholes get paid by the word. That is great for Disney because the people will have to run out to see the movie. Meanwhile all that hot bile and garbage is going to be seen and heard by gay people who do not need the abuse to come into their feeds based on some pointless character who was obviously pretty gay to begin with. If Disney is going to start this war they damned sure better fire back with something more. They are causing hurt and damage and it would be nice if they came out and told the religious right to fuck off about gays. I know they won't, but it would be lovely to see Disney make gay days at their parks official, and to start having more gay characters in their shows, and not just some confused villain sidekick.
The movie is about Stockholm syndrome induced beastiality. So we now know where gays rank in Alabama. Fuck a horse but never a member of your gender.
Would very much depend on where. While it was still punishable by death at the beginning of that century, the matter was one for ecclesiastical, not profane courts; which means its enforcement varied depending on geography, wealth, and feudal rank. The spreading enlightenment lead to France being the first European country to completely decriminalise homosexuality directly after the revolution in 1791. Let's assume the story is set when it was published, in 1740. Given the similarity between the Beast's hermit lifestyle and other hermitages for followers of the enlightenment, and the relative peace afforded to them and their lifestyles in most of that century, the neighbourhood could easily have included some people who felt little need to hide their gay lovelife.
