If they had integrity and/or morality they wouldn't have supported him to begin with. Be sure to try to peddle that line of :bullshit: to people who have been sued by hospitals over unpaid bills resulting from covid 19.

The people who want the government to step in are the ones who oppose private companies doing as they see fit with their property. The person who wants to force twitter to unban him is your glorious leader trump. You are blaming the wrong side and pretending you are not a part of blaming private companies for their actions. Your claim is a bold faced lie about the other side. To tell the truth, twitter, facebook, and instagram all allowed trump to violate their rules for four years because he was president. So he got 4 years of dayton time while they banned left speaking people for much less.

Do go fuck yourself with that lie.

As for you serving your country, fuck you because you clearly have supported a man who has tried to seize control of it with his violent army of confederate traitors because he lost the election. You have defended the confederacy. If they knew what you have posted they would boot you out of government service in a moment, and you can be thankful that this is anonymous. Any time you wan5t to challenge that do go into your boswses office and show him your account here and see how long before you are out on your traitorous ass. You are a traitor and your service means nothing to me.

Let's see: I was born in an Air Force hospital, was coached by sergeants and airmen in Little League, got yelled at by sergeants for getting out of line whilst living on base, wept at my father's funeral at Ft. Barrancas when jets flew over as Taps played and the rifles fired, worked at a military charity for two years, chaffeured the former Chairman of the JCS...I don't think that gives me a right to question anyone's sense of duty to America. On the other hand, I'm not about to have my right to question your judgment questioned on any grounds.

If we're talking about whether or not us Filthy Libruls have a right to say anything in Trumpamerica, my "credentials":
    • My Old Man saw four years in the Pacific, including Iwo Jima
    • His baby brother served in the Navy between wars
    • The man I married served in the "police action" in Korea; used to sleep with his arms crossed over his throat "in case they tried to slit our throats in the foxholes" - 20 years later
    • My late partner was stationed in Trieste, which was still considered a warzone at the time
    • Guy I went to grade school with served in Nam; ended up in a wheelchair
    • Another guy I went to grade school with came home with a heroin addiction and committed suicide
    • Guy I knew in my 20s was USNavy during Nam. His job was sorting body parts into body bags and hoping he'd find the dogtags to identify the larger pieces; he still has nightmares
    • Good friend I've been in touch with for years saw action in Da Nang; still can't talk about it
But to @oldfella1962 I'm just a "librul." Clearly I don't understand the issue.

According to @oldfella1962 logic we should not be questioning the loyalty of Tim Mcveigh since he served in the military and his loyalty to the US is obvious because of that. Remember Lee Harvey Oswald, I guess we cannot question him because he served as a marine. How many wackaloons have served in the military at one point? How many off duty soldiers were storming the capitol building to try and kill congress due to their loyalty to trump over the US?

Don't give me the bullshit that serving in the military in some way makes you above disloyalty to this country when we have plenty of instances of that not being true. Dear @oldfella1962 your brush was way too broad. You are going to have to do a little better than you served to convince me your loyalty lies with the US when you have supported the confederate traitors of america, and donald trump who just tried to have his personal army kill congress. You are standing on the wrong side of the line if you are loyal to america. Your support for the enemies of american democracy shows you have no loyalty to the american government over Donald Trump and his army of enemies to american existence.

meh-it's been clearly stated in the past that OF stayed in because it was a stable ride.

Anc always gives me the impression of not having to go, but believing he could do some good

The rest I won't bother listing perceived motives, but none of them make such a display of the experience bestowing them the last word.

In any event, nobody cares. As you pointed out, half the board are vets.

Over the past few days we say the end of the halftime show and the world is waiting to see if there really will be a second half... and all we see from you is the usual "but... chicago/blm/ibruls"

Don't telll you give a fuck about your country when it's on fire and all you wanna do is call the cops because black folks are barbecuing.

Whataboutism plus straw man! The logical fallacy daily double!

The original point MikeH was trying to make is that the fact that corporations don't really have integrity or morality is evident through the example of hospitals and insurance companies going after people for treatment for COVID.

There are a lot of things one could say to respond to that point. But instead, you have to try to twist things. Mike's point obviously never had anything to do with Hilary or Trump's botched pandemic response.

I mean, most fucking likely, yeah. She’d have kept the Wuhan CDC monitors. Alarms would have been pulled to keep it in China, if not Hubei province. She’d have used the fucking pandemic response plan. And she’d have been the first person to wear a mask in public if that failed, which would have saved a fuckload of lives. She wouldn’t have hosted superspreader events. I have very high confidence that Hillary Clinton being president would have saved 200,000+ American lives, maybe more, if there had been federally coordinated phased lockdowns, though that would be hard for any President.

The very worst thing Trump did was to politicize it. Convincing people of anything in the modern era is hard enough, when conspiracy theories and "I know it's true because I read it on internet" are rampant, but by making it all about him (because it would look bad on his record), he encouraged about one-third of Americans, and probably a lot of others around the globe, to pretend it was exaggerated. If you are a loyal follower of Donald Trump, you do not wear a mask, you do not social distance, and you purposely go out, even to large events.

It was hard enough, during the first two months of the pandemic, to get reliable scientific information, when the best scientists were still trying to figure it out. But Mr. "I don't think the scientists know, but I know" made it 1000 times worse. He has the blood of hundreds of thousands on his hands for that alone.

You mean politicize it the wrong way. Because he could have come out and said this is the conservative responsible thing to do, and turned his people into mask wearing nazis. That was a tactic we used at our paintball field. We made mask wearing the cool thing and made the idiots who did not wear them the enemy and that got the players to police themselves. It did take "performers" who were able to use their macho character to do the safe thing. It would not have worked perfectly as you would have lost some percentage of people, but it would have been so much better. That is the reason trump was so bad. It was that he adopted stupid and dumbass actions as his group's mantra. Had he just been neutral there would have been less trouble.

This is awesome. Between all the private companies booting the Trumps and even some of the messaging from cities (NYC saying Ivanka is not welcome there) the Trump family is going to be persona non grata except with the fringe loonies.

    About time.
