I have no love for Bush and certainly he made a great many mistakes, especially regarding Iraq, but "lack of focus on counter-terrorism" wasn't among them.

I think the US' counter-terrorism programs have been fairly uniform throughout all four post-9/11 administrations. The fact that the top two leaders of Al Qaeda were killed on the watch of Dem presidents, is simply a coincidence. It's also a symbolic accomplishment more than one of substance.

Trying to make this into a Red vs. Blue thing is just you having a tribalism moment. As is the red herring about pronouns.

That is one way to keep sleepy joe from fistbumping the enemy.

How did the press conference go? 7:30 seems like it might be hard for Joe considering the effects of sundowning. I would have waited until tomorrow morning given Joe's condition.
