    Somebody was suggesting before Christmas that a good way to lower your spending on Christmas presents was to start airing your views on fb.

    I asked around/looked around. I wanted something where there was dialogue. FB isn't the right venue for that. FB is becoming more and more "news" of dubious authenticity. A message board is opinion. You know that going in.
