So what other values have been changed? Also, accidentally set it to my work email address, so the account Bailey can be deleted, I'll be playing as Bailey Mk2 again.
I'm not sure, but I think it used to be set so you couldn't attack in sectors containing a Special, which definitely isn't the case in this game.
The account Cain can be deleted - I screwed up with it after only three turns or so - blew all my turns on a single trade. So self destructed and would like to start anew.
I did that last game - this time I only traded enough to upgrade hull and then did it again, etc. No takers for the PlanEx idea yet, but maybe we'll see what happens once interstellar politics sets in.
Well, the Fed sectors only go up to 9 now, IIRC. Also a Big Mac now costs just 99 cents!!!!!!!!!* *with purchase of 1 Stupidly Humongous 349258295-oz soda, 1 Huge Fries, 20,000 or more goods, and mortgage on the lard on your belly. Not available in CA or ID or outside continental US.
You can only have a maximum of 4 EWD's, Sub-Orbital Fighter Attack mode is on, Xenobes are enabled (if they work), IGB transfers are not limited anymore (if you want to send someone your entire net worth than you can). Planets can now have 250,000,000 colonists. And space plague and plasma storms now start at 200,000,000 colonists on a planet instead of 90,000,000. That's all the changes.
Pylades agrees: I think someone screwed with the engines. No, its just a different universe, so all the turn rates are different. I have level 15 engines and it still takes me 2 or more turns to get some places.
Bailey was right, it uses your fighters against the planet. That being said, fighters are pretty weak without beams to back them up.
Ah, so only your fighters go in, you don't risk losing the ship itself. Gotcha. That would have come in handy towards the end of the last game. phantom took some of my planets and didn't up the defences, so I could have taken the fighters and torpedoes, but he had Level 31 beams which would have taken out my shields and a fair chunk of my armour - not worth the repair costs.
Okay... I made 200 credits (), found Pussy Planet, which I named in the KITTY theme, of course. No nasty thoughts. And I have a bounty on Lethe now. But what the hell is that? What's a 200? How do I make money? How do I get fighters? I can't figure anything out!
Yeah, this galaxy is tough. Level 14 engines still means it can take me up to 6 turns to get somewhere. I'll probably be using warp links for a while.
