At this point, if I were Butch and Suni, I'd be asking NASA to send up a ship from that crazy Cybertruck guy. Also, fuck Boeing.
Butch and Suni are still stuck on the ISS, and NASA is in full-on damage control. I think every day that the astronauts are still on the ISS, NASA should publicly execute a Boeing executive.
1. Get the astronauts safely back to Earth. 2. Scrap the Starliner program and destroy the vessel along with any schematics and other data. 3. Burn Boeing headquarters to the ground, ensuring the executives and board of directors are in the building. I think that should solve the problem.
Boeing Starliner astronauts have now been in space more than 60 days with no end in sight This part of the article is noteworthy: "SpaceX, Boeing’s rival under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, may be tapped to bring Williams and Wilmore home instead. The move could potentially extend the astronauts’ stay on the International Space Station by another six months, pushing their return into 2025, agency officials said in a news conference Wednesday." Holy crap. Time to activate the plan I outlined in this post. Seriously. Jettison the Starliner from the ISS and let the fucking thing burn up in the atmosphere. Make room for the SpaceX Dragon so these poor folks can come home.
Boeing Official Says He's Not Surprised Company's Starliner Spacecraft Got Astronauts Stuck in Space "I think we all knew that it was going to go longer than that."
NASA will give a Boeing Starliner update on Aug. 24 and you can watch live NASA Administrator Bill Nelson will be there.
SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule to return Boeing Starliner crew to Earth As I posted earlier, find a way to safely detach the Starliner from the ISS and then let that piece of Boeing shit burn up in the atmosphere.
