I've been watching many of the films in the Criterion Collection lately, and have seen several of his movies. He made the 1960 film Breathless (A Bout de Souffle) one of the signature films of the French New Wave, for director Jean-Luc Godard and epitomized French "cool." He teamed with Godard again in Pierrot le Fou, a fun little adventure about a couple on the run. Vaya con Dios, Jean-Paul.
