Ick. Everything that is wrong with the mission burrito is on display in that picture.

The rice is wrong, the beans are wrong, and I don't care for chicken as a burrito meat. I guess the picture represents the buttsex with Satan faction.

I knew it! They have the worst rice, and the rice is exactly what jumps out first in that picture.

Yeah, I'd seen that photo before in Shitpolte ads before. Frankly, only the blandest of white people with no taste buds and no frame of reference for a proper burrito can stomach that shit. I didn't even go get one when they were giving those things out for free after E.ColiGate a while ago. I don't understand how they manage to break even, let alone turn a profit in San Diego when the real stuff has more flavor and is cheaper.

For those of you not blessed with nearby good Mexican restaurants try that at home. Just don't put rice and beans on it, those are meant to be served on the side. The delicious carbe asada itself if meant to be 70%-80% of the total burrito filling and the rest of the stuff is just there to accent the delicate flavors and help bring everything together.

Dinner is right, beans have no place in a burrito.

    Taquitos, OTOH..... :soma:

Kinda curious where this place is in town. Not to eat this abortion, but just to see it exists. :diacanu:

Google says it is in Linda Vista. If I am in Linda Vista then I am going to K's Sandwiches. Best Vietnamese sandwiches in town.

To be honest I see little difference between:
    1. a soft shelled taco
    2. a flour tortilla
    3. an enchilada
    4. a burrito

Granted I make my own European-American version of all of this food. But the Taco Bell black-bean burrito (with rice) is great. Let me preach on about rice:
I can't find short grain rice in my local grocery stores lately. Medium grained, long grain, no problem. But I like my short grained rice! Where has it all gone?
I think SNOPES needs to check into this.

Technically burritos are more Mexican-American than Mexican.

@Anna Have you tried Oscar's Mexican Seafood yet?

Is it designed for a whole table full of folks? It's about as much total food as I would eat in four meals worth of eating - amazing!
