Confirmed through Facebook and Google searches, he apparently died earlier this month. Go easy, never-President Kitchens.
Fuck... A few weeks ago I searched to see if there was an obituary for him. I looked him up again just now. He died on March 12th, his funeral was on March 16th. I don't feel good about it, actually I feel a bit depressed and sorry for him. He may have been... different, but still he was a person that had family and those that cared and loved him. I don't even feel like a making a joke about it. And there's plenty I can think of. Where he died is mainly a nursing and rehabilitation facility, but also can serve as a hospice, which probably means he was expected to recover. As much friction as he caused on here, I think most of us did try to get him to take better care of himself. I hope he went as peaceful and painless as possible.
I believe the ordained presidential line was: 2000-2008 George W. Bush 2008-2016 Jeb Bush 2016-2024 Dayton Kitchens
Well, firstly, that is funny as fuck and damn you for making me laugh while I'm trying to be serious. Secondly, rest in peace, Dayton. You and I didn't get along at all, but I have no doubt you had family who loved you, and so my heart goes out to them and, for whatever it's worth, I hope you got to go to the heaven you believed existed.
I just remembered, when he was in the hospital after surgery due to the flesh eating bacteria infection he got, El Chup and I sent him gifts. He responded by saying that El Chup sent him a much better gift and later said that my gift was half assed. I think that pretty much summarized the type of person he really was. So yeah, I guess he finally got the ultimate perma-ban. And I managed to outlive him, not that it was that hard to do so.
Whelp. He posted a lot and for a long time. He apparently had family that loved him so I hope his passing was as painless as it could be and wish the best for all who cared about him.
I feel bad for his wife and daughter. Dealing with the contents of the chicken coop library is going to be a huge task.
I sent him a book off Amazon. I think Chup sent him a book too. This is the book I sent him. He also made some comment about picture books being on my level or something. Maybe I should ask for the book back, he's not going to be using it anymore.
After your initial post I was thinking "Oh damn... What's going to happen with the chicken coop?' Stay classy WordForge.
Very true. I was as polite as I could be about it because as much as I genuinely did not like him, at the end of the day he was a small man with a shitload of petty jealousies and rivalries no one else seemed to know or care about. He didn't hold any actual power, his idiocy was mostly directed here and on various message boards, and I think even he loathed himself by the end of it. To quote one of my favorite characters, "a sad little king of a sad little hill."
When I sent him the book, I remembered that he said he enjoyed visual reference books. I think the book was relatively new at the time. The link the page goes to shows the current price, I paid about $20 at when I sent it to him. I was thinking that as bad as he came across, he was probably feeling scared, worried, anxious at the time. And that a book like that could help take his mind off his situation for even a short time. I didn't expect a grand thank you, I didn't even expect a thank you. I didn't expect or want acknowledgement. He was the one that brought it up to shit on it. After that, I realized that he was truly a complete shit of a person.
Yeah... I pretty much turned a 180 on that. Remembering the book thing is what did it. I haven't thought about that in years.
Dayton, Dayton... often imitated, never duplicated. I remember that asshole. He was from Norphlet, which is a shitty little town in the southern part of this state. I know, that really narrows it down. Norphlet is one of those places you'll never find accidentally... and that's proof there is a God who cares for us. You actually have to be looking for it. It's not Banjo Central or anything like that, but it's the sort of town where everyone knows everyone because it's not hard to know everyone... they're tight with each other and don't like questions because manufacturing meth can get you serious prison time in this state. I always thought the guy was a fucking Baptist based on his attitude, but reading the obit it seems he's Church of Christ. They're even more pretentious and shitty than the Baptists. I'm not in the habit of speaking ill of the dead, but I don't have any favorable memories of that shit head, so... adios, asshole? I guess.
Dayton was the most entertaining aspect of Wordforge, and this place never recovered after he was banned. Now it never will. Sad.
Did his Praxis score get him into heaven? He seemed to think it was going to open doors for him everywhere.
