There have always been long deployments and supply issues with the Navy, that's just part of the game. I would love to see most of the rest of the world, including the EU, the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Latin America, continue to have some kind of business dealings with Iran. What could Trump do? Cut off all economic relations with everyone? In reality, he is desperately trying to somehow get out of the mess he created, before it makes the disaster even worse for the upcoming elections. Republicans across the board are begging him to put an end to this war, because they're the ones facing the people in November.

The only countries with meaningful economic ties with Iran right now are Russia, China and North Korea... all of which are either already sanctioned or Trump can't afford to block trade with.
