Oh, I definitely don't want it. I probably wouldn't live very long after such a conflict started, but also because a lot of innocent people would die for the ego of a fascist piece of shit, and I hate that even more.

"I'd take everything if I could. Why do you resist so much?"
You'd ban everything that someone who needed to resist would find useful. Your 2nd Amendment protects duck hunting. Mine is about securing a free state.

Point is: you're for much more than just "registration" and "training." And you admit that you want much more than that.

Considering you spent several posts trying (and failing) to defend Trump's use of anonymous federal troops, I question your judgment. I'm not sure you know what a "free state" is.
And if you're going to imply that there aren't things you'd like to see in this country that run counter to the majority opinion, you are free to attack me for my personal beliefs. But I'll rest comfortably knowing that at least my beliefs are bolstered by the knowledge that Britain, for instance, hasn't had a mass shooting in, well... ever?

I've already explained that they're not anonymous, nor are they troops. They're being operated in accord with established law.

If they are not anonymous, then explain the masks and lack of visible badging.
If they're not troops, explain the combat fatigues.

I've already shown you masked law enforcement that you said were acceptable because they either have or are required to show badges. I've given you the U.S. law that requires ICE to identify on request during an enforcement action. So, your claim that they're anonymous doesn't hold up.

Do you really think the legal definition of what constitutes a soldier is...clothing?

If you're allowed to engage in hyperbole for effect...

But let's not get hung up on that. Especially since the main point is, if your argument for unfettered access to military weaponry is to fight back against tyranny, you've both been derelict in your duty (If you truly believe Trump was right about the 2020 election) and willfully cooperative with the exact same tactics you claim to need those weapons to fight against.

Paladin's a swallows camels and strains at gnats kind of guy. Like UA, his rhetoric can be generalized, but yours must be painfully specific. It's what most sealions do to ignore the particulars of a topic they don't like discussing.

And, @Paladin, just in case you were wondering what tactics I'm referring to you being complicit with:
    IMG_2041.jpeg

Tell me this is normal. Tell me it's okay. Tell me it's a sign of a healthy government that respects its citizens.
And then explain why a reasonable citizen wouldn't feel the need to fight back in the face of that.

Not military weaponry. You're resorting to hyperbole again. I'm only advocating for the arms that have been (and in most places still are) available to civilians for decades.
Where exactly did I say that I believe Trump was right? The most I've said is that the way our elections are run makes claims possible and, to many, plausible.

Even if I did believe the election were stolen, I'd be willing to exhaust legal means of redress before resorting to armed rebellion.
I don't know how you got the impression that I'm going to start shooting because illegal aliens are being deported. Honestly, I'm not mad at all about it.

To claim the AR15 or AK47 is not military weaponry is a blatant lie.
Likewise, availability is not a tenable argument.

Where exactly did I say that I believe Trump was right? The most I've said is that the way our elections are run makes claims possible and, to many, plausible.[/quote]
The only reasonable way one could believe that is plausible at this point is if one were to believe that multiple judges across multiple jurisdictions appointed by multiple presidents were either incompetent or corrupt.
At which point, redress of some sort would be essential.

Clearly, those legal means were insufficient, then, were they not?

At some point, he clearly decided The Alliance was in the right for meddling in the affairs of others. If only River Tam understood she was going to be used as a weapon for good*, all of those people who pushed back wouldn't have had to die.

I fully acknowledge that I am 100% being an irrelevant pedantic dumb mother fucker.

    I own it.

The ‘Revolutionary War’ was in no way revolutionary! They were literally fighting for the status quo! The British government wanted more taxes and more control over the colonies and the colonies said FUCK YOU!

That isn’t a revolution. I don’t know what it is but maintaining the status quo isn’t a revolution.

My state allows me to carry a gun in my vehicles and carry one on my person without having to obtain a permit. Despite that, I regularly go unarmed into potentially dangerous parts of my city carrying thousands of dollars worth of electronic equipment.

The only time I ever make sure to have at least one firearm with me is when I'm traveling to rural, heavily MAGA areas.

The fun part is the British weren’t wrong.

    WE WERE FUCKING BAD!!!

Look it up. There was a young Virginia militiaman who was named Captain George Washington who got captured by the French in ‘The Ohio’ and who was ransomed by the English (this was a common thing back in the day).

Don’t believe me look it up.

Yep, which is why I own a gun. I live in a rural, heavily MAGA area, and I have neighbors who own guns and who have openly talked about shooting "illegals" and "queers" because "illegals" are apparently getting free healthcare somehow and the queers are, well, they're queer.

So I do own a gun.

It's a moot point anyway, since the logistics behind confiscating every weapon would be highly difficult, nigh on impossible considering the proliferation of weapons here in the US. That said, if there was confiscation as federal order, it is likely the fascist government would target left wing groups first, as we present an actual threat to a fascist government. So people like FF would be perfectly safe for a while.

    What military uses semi-auto rifles?
You're making an argument that those weapons are military; my response is that civilians have owned them for many decades.

I've owned an AR-15 since 1988 and an AK since 1989, and I was very far from the first to have them.
Judges only know the evidence that is presented to them.
Again, I'm not making the claim the election was stolen, so for me it's irrelevant.
    There's that hyperbole again.

Already explained: not anonymous and not troops. And the "will of the city"--by which I presume you mean "the wishes of the Democrat officials running it"--is irrelevant. where it comes to lawful federal authority.

    Two points here:
    1) The M27 is an AR15 derivative, like several other rifles used by the military. And I don't know why you are making a point about semi-auto. It's perfectly legal in the USA to own a fully automatic machine gun.
    2) How long you've owned yours is completely irrelevant to any of this discussion.

You keep claiming that, but have yet to explain why then they are masked and wearing fatigues.
And if you think that only Democratic officials are opposing the usage of those troops, well, they must have a HELL of a lot of aldermen running around the city protesting.
