What about information regarding Conservativism in those liberal indoctrinating public schools? Should that information be only given to students of Conservative parents? What if a kid from one of those damned liberal households wants to learn about MAGA?

Are we going to run through every single possible scenario of what is and isn't appropriate for kids because guess what?

Yes, we do and yes, we should as you obviously wish to pick and choose.

No we don't and no I don't. Parents, repeat after me, parents should choose what's appropriate for their children. Parents. Not me.

You definitely should not be choosing anything for children, as evidenced in this thread. However ... what of children who might want to know more about something their parents would not/could not expose them to?

Do you think, as a public institution, information should be limited to what this parent wants vs what that parent wants? I don't think you understand the function of government of public institutions and therefore, need to limit your posts on this website to media central.

You could have left it there without flinging insults, but here we are.

I think local school boards can and should have the power to determine determine what is and isn't appropriate for children to be exposed to and at what levels. That being said, don't be surprised when parents that don't share your views start pushing back against things they don't agree with. Of course if MerricK Garland had his way, those parents would be labeled domestic terrorists and locked away at Gitmo'.

Still don't think you understand how government works nor what public institutions should or should not leave up to the masses.

Jesus Christ, how fucking thick can you get?

This entire letter is about the rash of people harassing and threatening violence against school administrators and teachers.

Not "pushing back." Harassing and threatening violence.

Are you really dumb enough to swallow the dishonest narrative that Fox News was pushing about this, or are you just being intentionally dishonest along with them?

Why does the DOJ need to get involved and not local police? Also, define harassing and threatening violence.

Why shouldn't the DOJ get involved, aside from the fact that you've decided to get very attached to the simpleminded narrative that holds that local is always better?

Well, we could start with the numerous examples documented here:

Did these people cross state lines because that’s when the FBI should theoretically get involved.

The federal government has authority to fight terrorist threats. In part because there are parts of the country where local police departments have proven they can't be trusted to do so.

So Federal Farmer has been trolling the internet for cartoons of 14 year olds blowing each other? :jayzus:

Anyone remember those few weeks when we didn't have to wade through dozens of posts responding to one of his dumbass posts?

Just a reminder for those that might not follow anthropology, there’s only one species of Homo sapiens that exists on this planet.

    So you?

Yes, that's redundant. You're going to fail your anthro final (if your hillbilly high school even offers that). Primarily because you're talking about biology and not anthropology (which is the study of human cultures, linguistics, etc., and not interspecies biology).

Yes, just like there's only one species of Pan troglodytus or Canine familiarius existing. Or only one species of Tyrannosaurus rex that existed.

the law clearly defines those already (and has for quite some time), ergo DoJ is acting on what is essentially domestic terror threats which are above the jurisdiction of local law enforcement.

it's amazing what atrocities you righties will allow for if somebody slaps the word freedom on it.
