    His career is probably history.

Is he a druggie or mentally ill?

I hope he gets whatever help he needs.

He was on thin ice already, and decided to start machine gunning holes in it.

He's gone. The Flash movie is the last we'll see of him. And I don't just mean DC. I mean in anything.

I dunno, I'm thinking pull a Kevin Spacey and edit him right out.
Have Grant Gustin and John Wesley Shipp fill in.

From the trailers there’s two Flashes so I don’t know if they can pull that off, plus that would require basically pulling a Solo and shooting the move all over again.

Nah. Tig Notaro filled in for some actor on a movie, and she did all her scenes in front of a green screen with no other cast members there. That's also how she shot a bunch of her scenes for a number of Discovery episodes.

Here's an article about how they did it for Army of the Dead. I think that in one of the interviews with her that I posted in the Disco thread, she talks about how she did it for the episodes of that series. IIRC, the first episode where we meet her character, it was all shot ahead of time and she was added in later.

Fascinating. They did it pretty seamlessly in Disco.

Hopefully, this means that the management is going to un-f**k the DC cinematic universe by getting it off the horrible track it's seemed set upon recently.

The Wonder Twins might've made for a good movie, but seriously: where are Superman, Green Lantern, The Justice League? Even if the earlier efforts fell short, they should be already well into rebooting them.

I am old enough that I was a little kid when the Superfriends were first aired, and I fucking HATED not only the Wonder Twins, but also Marvin and Wendy (and whatever their Wish dot com version of Scooby Doo dog was called). There's simply no fucking way that the Wonder Twins would have made a good movie unless it was absolutely brutal satire of the whole genre, which I'm sure wasn't going to happen.

They had the Wonder Twins in Smallville and it was okay. I don’t think a whole movie would work though.

    I liked that ep!

As for a movie? Who knows? It would be hard to do it as a straight take--elements are just too silly--but if it was changed too much, there wouldn't be much point. At the end of the day, it's still a girl who can change into animals and a boy who can change into water, which, though an opportunity for some spectacle, is not all that compelling. Oh, and there's a space monkey.

Y'know how the Birds Of Prey movie is really the Harley Quinn movie?
I'd have the Wonder Twins movie be "Wonder Twins Ambush Bug" and make a deliberately terrible Wonder Twins movie, and have Ambush Bug MST3K it.

From the very first encounter I ever had with Ambush Bug...

In this issue of DC Comics Presents (#59, July 1983), Ambush Bug somehow winds up at the Legion of Superheroes HQ in the 30th Century, and is under the mistaken impression that he's at Disneyland...

It's been 39 years (!!!) and I still have this line stuck in my head: "Prejudice rears its ugly head even in the land of the Mouse!"
