At that press conference she had Senator Alex Padilla arrested for asking a question. They literally took a sitting senator and arrested him, handcuffs and all. These people clearly believe they're unstoppable at this point.

They're not here because they don't care. They only care if the people in power can't hurt who they want to hurt. If the people in power are trying to help the poor, the needy, the marginalized, then suddenly states rights and personal liberties and don't tread on me and all of that 2nd Amendment bullshit they love right up until black people, or gays, or Mexicans think they can have it, too.

When conservatives like that say tyranny, what they really mean is "I'm not allowed to step on people I believe are inferior to rich white people."

Also, they know they're hypocrites, and they don't care because the people they support are in power. If Donald Trump shot a person on 5th Avenue, they'd love him for it. It doesn't have to be a criminal, or some villain, just anyone: a dog, like Kristi Noem did, or just a black kid carrying a pop and some candy. Doesn't matter. They will love him for it.

He was present at the press conference before she stepped up to speak, he was allowed inside the room, and he was allowed inside a federal building which presumably has a security checkpoint for entry. They knew who he was.
