This seems pretty inconsistent around my neighborhood. Some houses park all their cars on the driveway, some all in the garage. And yet others do a mix and fill half their garage with junk and park one car on the other side. And yet others have a fucking three car garage and park their fourth car on the driveway as a fuck you. But anyway, what do you all do? Also, for Red Room purposes, Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher are directly responsible for January 6 and Brexit.
I don't have a driveway, and the big door on the garage is sealed shut, so, I have to park in the street.
Both. I keep the convertible in the garage along with the SUV, then have two other cars in the driveway.
When my brother and I moved to Boise we vowed to keep the garage clear enough to park our cars inside. 9+ years later, we still are parking inside. Gives you an Uncle Albert type of smug superiority to not have to scrape ice off the windshield and have the interior almost warm.
Garage both my cars. My garage isn’t huge though - built in 1962 - so the amount of other stuff has to be consistently monitored. We have bikes outside or at blocking the walkway in the garage now. Not ideal.
My wife's car and my truck both go in the garage. My oldest daughter moved back in with us last summer and parks her SUV in the driveway.
I don't have a garage but given snow is a thing here, I'd definitely look for another apartment w car storage if I did move to another place here.
Driveway. Though we are doing a purge this spring so the garage might get cleared out and organized. Need to bring in a dumpster for it though. Our trash service has always been limited in to what they will take. At least I have a teenage boy to help now.
Currently my garage is full of shit my wife keeps on promising that she’s going to put on Craigslist and sell while I’m freezing my ass off every morning in the winter walking to my car. Year and a half this has been going on If it’s not done by the summer I’m calling the junkers and reclaiming my garage
Yeah, my wife and I seem to go through spurts of needing to clean out the garage. Then both our cars fit. And then just her car. And then neither car. Rinse and repeat. Right now about 90% of it is cardboard boxes and other trash, primarily from shit we got for our baby. Our county provides a free junk pickup once a year which we did recently, but that was mainly for large junk in the backyard. I just need to be consistent about exacto-knifing all the fucking Amazon boxes we seem to accumulate and slowly throwing them out in recycling.
I have two ninety gallon recycle bins. Yeah I have to pay more (now) for the second bin but it’s always been worth it since it’s rare that I don’t put both out.
Sounds like I should drive up with a pair of lawn chairs, buy a case of cold ones from a local grocery store (don't feel like smuggling that across the border lol), set up on your lawn and watch the show
The only house I ever owned, I insisted the garage be kept clean enough that, at minimum, my car fits in thee - all year. Now I live in an apartment and chose this place specifically because the garage is included in he rent. I'm too old to be scraping snow off the car every moning.
I usually leave my bike in my hallway as the storage closet is a little too little for it. Winter riding sucks and is for younger me though, so currently its upside down in a corner.
