Part of me says $300 is a little pricey for a flip phone, but having read through all of the specs, it's more like a full featured phone that just has the flip feature and tactile buttons, so I think the price is a wash in the grand scheme of things. I love my little flip phone, but it is slow, it is poorly made, texting on it is a serious chore (I'm a fast typist but it takes me a good 3 minutes to type a single sentence with my flip phone). I like that people want to simplify things now, I like this trend. There is a way to have complexity but in a simplified format for ease of use, and I like this idea.
Back when I had a flip phone ages ago I set the ringtone to be the TOS communicator chirp. That annoyed the hell out of people, but I loved it.
