Game of Thrones, Season 7 (Spoilers)

He said he got caught up promoting his other works, I understand that, you have one run away success so you want to promote your other franchises, he also suddenly started getting invited to events around the world. As GRRM said who turns down a free trip to Dubai or Tokyo or London? Writters block happens but at some point you have to shit or get off the pot.

He does have a busy career and suddenly everyone wanted to work with him which would be key to his post ASOIAF career so he got busy with that but he neglected the crown jewels, the story which put him there, and that needs to be the focus.

On the other side, he has been writting these books since 1991 and this is his magnum opus so I can see why he would want to write, rewrite, and not release anything until he thinks it is absolutely perfect.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that he can't do other things or take vacations or go to cons or stuff. He deserves all of that. He's earned it.

I just don't accept the writers block excuse as a defense for him.

I would hope that's not true.

It would totally ruin Varys character. He truly seems like the only one who cares about the little people of the realm.

Naw, she will miscarriage. We already know from the prophecy of Maggy the Frog that Cersei will not have any more children and thst she will be killed by her brother. Cersei always thought it was Tyrion who would kill her but in the end it will be Jamie especially since Ryrion is not a Lannister but the bastard son of the mad king.

When it's all said and done it will be interesting to see how far the show diverges from the books.

In the books Varys has back the supposed Aegon who is actually (probably) a fake Aegon. He is a blackfire by his mother's line and the cheese monger is his (supposed) father.

So you have a whole black dragon pretbeding to be a red dragon thing though he probably doesn't know it. In the last book he hired the golden company and landed near. Storm's End (the old Baratheon lands) and everyone is trying to figure out if he is the real deal or an impostor.

I suspect Kyburn is her master of whispers. Remember how he adopted all of Varys's little birds?

Jon didn't have the keys. Watch the scene again because the wildling lord had them and Jon took them from his hands. Which makes sense since the wildling was the head of Eastwatch by the Sea.

Wheels within wheels. Until we know his end game I think if fair to assume that IF he is playing both sides (which he has done before remember) it is b/c he thinks it is the best way to end the war and bring peace for the little people.

Depending on how crazy she gets, Jamie might have to kill her while she's still carrying their child. I think that's the most JRRish scenario I can come up with, so the truth will probably be even worse.

Based on the Season 7 rules I fully expect Sam & Gilly to be at Eastwatch next episode with a cup of hot tea for Jon's return.

I was hoping Sam would return to Hornhill and take over the Tarly lands. Whiny bitch probably will return to the wall though.

I can tell you from experience that herding an army of dead is like herding cats. It's totally believable that it's taking the White Walker King forever to get to the wall.

I've no doubt they'll come up with something no one has guessed though.

I'm not sure how Cersei can survive this season - you can see her regarding the army of the dead as the solution to her problems in the North, so would betray any alliance at first chance to weaken Dany's forces and the North and deal with the Night King later. There's no unified war against the Night King whilst Cersei lives.

Of course that could be the plan of the whole series. Go the full Blakes 7...

I'd laugh if the very last scene was of Bronn and Tyrion leaving the Night King conquered Westeros, heading towards Essos with plenty of gold.

Tyrion: "We can run, but they'll follow..."
Bronn: "They might. They might not. But then, with all this gold we can be too busy drowning in the finest cunt and wine to notice or care"

I'm sure someone else has already noticed this, but last night, I was watching some Season 5, and thought for the first time, "Boy...Sansa sure has gotten tall". So, curious, I looked up Sophie turner's height, and was like, "She's 5'9" ??? That's kind of tall for a girl, but surely she's taller than that. She's taller than Jon Snow!" So I start looking into it and immediately see that most of the "average size" main characters are played actors and actresses that are on the short side. Kit Harington is 5'8", Richard Madden is 5'10", Alfie Allen is 5'9", Aiden Gillen is 5'10", Coneleth Hill is 5'9", John Bradley-West is 5'8". Hell, Isaac Hempstead is 5'11". If Bran could stand up, he'd dwarf most everyone else.

I guess that's to make the "Large" characters like Brien, The Clegaines, look even taller?

I broke and watched the leaked episode. Shit sound, good video. Well... not an experience. Don't.

But hell that's gonna be one packed episode 7. Unlike all the other penultimate episodes this was not the actual finale followed by some mopping up. It resolved nothing. I wonder if they'll speed it up by 10 percent or something
