Remember, if gas prices go up and your guy is President, then the President has nothing to do with gas prices. If the other party's guy is President, it's all their fault.
Remember, Lanzman is "on the fence" only in the sense that the railing has gone right up his arse and through his brain, hence why he says this shit.
except for where that never really happened. well, other than that one time where Trump was pushing for the price of gas to go up in the summer of 2020.... just not sure that fits your narrative
Umm... https://www.nbc12.com/2022/03/05/bi...lion-barrels-oil-strategic-petroleum-reserve/ He has. However, this still applies: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gas-prices-us-strategic-petroleum-reserve-wont-affect/
I'm surprised at you. Making folk wear masks was an act of tyranny, but making them pay higher gas prices?! To an Conservative American, that's tantamount to genocide.
Paid nothing for energy today. I charge for free at the office. Otherwise 40 miles is about 12KWh. At $0.12/KHh it would be $1.44 for 40 miles. If I charge at home. Suckers.
When I filled up in my hometown on Saturday I think it was $3.79? Gas prices there always tend to run higher for some reason, though, which is ironic considering how much oil is pumped there.
This too shall pass.* *unless we get nuked to oblivion, in which case who cares what the price of gas is?
Good for you. Too bad literally everything else you need to purchase/borrow/steal will go up in price.
The facts of oil: The US is a net oil exporter: we extract more oil than we use. Texas and other US refineries bet heavily on Keystone bringing us cheaper Canadian "sour" crude. To this end they invested billions in refineries that could process the lower quality crude oil. Texas doesn't have enough refining capacity for the Texas sweet crude they pump out of their own ground, so they are forced to buy lower quality oil. This is why the oil lobby wants the damn pipeline so bad. They aren't even drilling here to the extent they could (although that's bound to pick up now that oil prices are back up). But any new wells will only go into the international market. Unless you want the US to nationalize oil like they have in Venezuela and other countries, we don't control the price of oil or the price you pay at the pump. Oil companies are laughing all the way to the bank (oil stocks are way up if you haven't noticed). Suckers. source.
Steal? I don't think you mean what you think you mean... I know... I just paid $800 for a $200 exterior entry system.
