Got sucked into reading his Wiki article, and we all know that he had a rapier wit, but damn. Apparently, in his later years, he and his family were taking a trip cross country. They were staying at a motel, and were told by management that they couldn't go swimming as the hotel had a rule against Jews swimming in their pool. Marx replied, "Well, can my son go in up to his waist? He's only half-Jewish."
