He just tweeted that the very typical handgun with standard capacity magazine used to shoot the two cops in Compton is apparently a "weapon of war" and that we need to ban "assault weapons with high capacity magazines." You're welcome Joe!

I'm not generally a fan of lever action guns, but they are sturdy & reliable. Yes I had the pretty much standard 30-30 lever action for deer hunting when I was a kid but if I ever have need for a general all-around use rifle (home defense & hunting) I'd take an AR-15 platform if only because that's what I have more experience with.
