    Just found out, the kid that was orphaned July 4 in Highland Park ..., the mother worked at the same company I do. Sure, there's 30K+ other people in Lake County that works here, but ... still hits a bit close to home. I'm certain his future independence day celebrations will not be happy.

    I do have to admit it is better than our past patriotic activities which often involved bringing the family to the hangin of a brown person. Now we have explosions and gunfire in our nice manicured areas. What are the people running for? Shoot back, it is unamerican not to.
