I imagine someone, somewhere does. But such a person (along with his opinion) is not likely to be of very high quality to begin with.
Then I guess I'm not a very high quality person. I think it's silly and I didn't connect with the characters at all. It's all a little too cute for me. Don't like the superhero premise at all.
No, I hate Lost. And I hate superhero stories. I hated Spiderman. I'm a very bad citizen and proud of it.
Hey, if you demand a piece of my thinly veiled insult directed squarely at Face and no one else, then by all means, have some!!
24 rules, dude. It appeals to my hostile impulses that remain repressed because my dick boss would fire me. Cheerleaders don't. Bombing LA does.
Meh...I love 24 and I love Heroes. Thank the goddess for VCRs (or whatever sort of preferred recording device you choose) As for Claire's Dad, I'd sort of figured out from the TVG interview that it had to be him because they said it was a known character and most of these folks aren't old enough to fill the bill. Something else from that article - they said the fritzyness of Hiro's power is a deliberate effort to avoid the Reset Button being always at hand - a wise choice (Brandon Barga, pick up the White Courtesy Phone please!)
[action=phantomofthenet]watches as Braga picks up the phone.[/action] [action=phantomofthenet]smiles and hits the detonator.[/action] Thanks for the assist, Shadow.
I'm not much for 24 or Heroes. Both are extremely overhyped, which makes them even more of a turnoff. The commericals for Heroes in particular make like its the greatest story ever told.
Well, for a network sci-fi/fantasy show, it sure is! And the network, for the first time that I can tell, is keeping their grubby mitts out of the works and letting the producers handle the storytelling.
The 4400 was a pure science fiction; Heroes is science fiction/fantasy. Two totally different genres and you can only compare character development and story integrity. And from what I recall, they compare quite well.
Jesus Christ Liz, that's weak. The 4400 and Heroes are very similar. Making some sort of lame attempt to categorize them differently for convenience...? Anyway, I saw about one and a half season of 4400 before giving up, and Heroes blows that retarded crap out of the water. a.
I really like both series. I think Heroes has a better cast (Jeff Combs notwithstanding) and I think The 4400 is much better written (though I like the writing on Heroes fine) but both have great creative concepts and are highly entertaining. Where Heroes has the edge is that you don't have to wait such a DAMN long time to see what happens next. I can't even remember when the last new ep of The 4400 aired and the longer I wait the more plot details I forget.
What Shadow said. With plot developments actually occurring, Heroes exceeds Lost or Galactica in my personal estimation. I'm tired of speculating what the hell the island is about (in fact, gave up Lost entirely in large part 'cuz of that) and I'm rapidly losing patience with Galactica over all this continuing nothing happening.
You don't see a similarity between two groups of ordinary people who suddenly find themselves in posession of superhuman abilities and who find themselves at odds with mysterious government and nongovernmental forces? Do you see a similarity between your left and right hands, or are those unrelated also?
