I don't know if anyone is still reading this thread or not but the bride and I had a great time. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and it was awesome. Even the "value resorts" rooms are awesome, The meal plan will have you eating gourmet food and gaining weight but it was great. I just get real sad that it goes by so fast and now there is work again tomorrow :(

Actually, we did the meal plan the first time around, and GORGED ourselves like pigs, and didn't gain a single pound, due to all that walking we did all over the theme parks.

Disney does it right. I just wish:
    a) it wasn't always SO FRIGGIN crowded
    b) it didn't rain every single day
    c) their character Princesses were topless! :soma:

    :D

A and B can be taken care of. I went once in March and once in November. The one in November the days were clear as storm season is over, the highs were high 70s and the lows 60s and there was no need for fast passes. You could ride any ride as much as you liked and that was with the rides not even running a full capacity. Prices are cheaper then too. No high temps and humidity. The trip in March was also much less crowded. They won't tell you this if you ask but I talked to some Disney folks person to person. After Jan15 to about april, then after labor day to about thanksgiving. The week we went in November was the week before Thanksgiving and the place was all Christmased up but the water parks were still open and fun. From the week of thanksgiving to mid January is their absolute busiest time of year, so avoid that. I walked the parks all day long for 6 days and my knees gave me very little problems, I was amazed and happy for that. A few times around the world showcase and it you have walked a ways. I think I should start walking more if I can stand it for my health.
