If they kill him in this flick, it'll de-canonize "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" because that has him living 'til 93.
This title gives me serious Stargate vibes and I'm worried they might rip it off somehow. Especially after the Crystal Skull, though that was just exploring a common alien legend. Realistically, Daniel was Indy if he wasn't (initially) badass and never got taken seriously about the quasi-religious shit.
I was just watching a video about crossover universes the other day where they mentioned the Raiders/Captain America connection in one of Red Skull's lines... so this isn't too far fetched an idea. Especially as SG-Origins takes place around the same time and ends up with the gate potentially being in the same warehouse as the ark. They also point out that Mal's binocular during the Firefly pilot have a Weyland-Yutani logo in the overlay.
We'll find out what happened to Mutt. https://www.darkhorizons.com/dial-of-destiny-will-reveal-mutts-fate/
I read that last night. I don't believe him. John Williams said they were shooting another ending and I don't believe that he misspoke.
He posts on a message board as a "Libertarian" who definitely didn't vote Republican the last three times.
Yeah, still not sold on this. I'm assuming that there's going to be a ton of bar soap product placement in the flick. Also, I don't know if my internet connection was acting wonky or not but damn, did some of the shots of de-aged Ford, or even ancient Ford with his face spliced onto a stunt double's body really look like late 90s CGI effects work. Or the Falcon in ESB where you could see the matte lines in the asteroid belt.
You couldn't see the matte lines where his face was spliced onto that of his body/stunt double? Sure, his face looked good, but sticking it onto his body looked almost as bad as the fake nude pics where the person's head grafted onto the body looks a couple of sizes too large.
