This person seems to be conflating "what people on Polymarket are betting" with odds based on something other than what a bunch of online gamblers think will happen.

At a guess, I'd say the main thing influencing the change right after Vance's visit is that suddenly a bunch of non-Hungarian Polymarket users became aware of the election who hadn't been previously. The polling trendlines do show that the opposition is gaining support, but the biggest surge in Tisza's support came over the course of 2024, then has been sustained with slow but steady gains over the course of 2025 and into this year.
