Still! "Old friend." You've managed to kill just about everyone else, but like a poor marksman, you keep on missing the target.

Is that the one where Kirk and Han Solo were sent back in time by Doc Brown and used the force on the Cylons?

No. It’s the one in which Mail and Spock have to save Jabba’s kidnapped baby.

But then the Stargate accidentally sent them to Middle Earth and they had to be rescued by Tony Stark and the Justice League.

Rewatching it and can't help but notice that TNG seems to have done a nod to this scene with some of the windows we saw on the Enterprise.

And the Paramount+ version is not the director's cut. :(

I remember seeing it by myself (I was 13) sometime the week it opened. I thought it was terrific, but was pretty bummed that Spock died.

I probably watch it every year or two. One of my last times seeing it was at a screening in Thousand Oaks when I got to meet William Shatner! I just recently got the 4K set of the first four ST films and have saved TWOK for last.

And I just noticed that this pre-figures a lot of the design language on TNG.

Another thing I just noticed. We get a shot of Reliant's bridge and we can see Terrell standing there.

This is as they are laying in an intercept course for the Enterprise. When Kirk later rescues Terrell, he recounts Khan torturing the folks at Regula One and then says that Khan had to go in order to blow Kirk to bits. This means that they showed up at Regula One, tortured the people, left to fight Kirk, and then, after the battle, returned to Regula One to stash Terrell and Chekov, before retreating a bit farther away to try and repair the ship.
